Johnnie's Charcoal Broiler is a well-known spot in Oklahoma that has been serving quality meals for over 50 years. This restaurant combines fast food and fast casual dining, offering a variety of options such as charbroiled burgers, sandwiches, chicken entrées, salads, and more. Their menu includes popular burgers like the Johnnie's Burger and the Theta Burger, known for their premium quality taste. Vegetarian choices are available, including the veggie patty made like a #9 with less cheese. Customers often enjoy their homemade, breaded onion rings, which are considered some of the best around. The menu is straightforward, with categories to suit all tastes. Many praise the high quality of the food, especially the burgers and shredded cheese topping. The interior has a nostalgic 80s vibe, is well-maintained, big, and clean. The staff is friendly and service is quick, usually taking about 10-15 minutes, and they call customers by their name. The restaurant is also appreciated for its friendly atmosphere and comfortable setting. Besides the food, the coconut cream pie is a popular dessert—large and not overly sweet. Overall, Johnnie's Charcoal Broiler remains a favorite spot for great meals in Oklahoma.
