“Our first time to visit & it was really tasty. My Sister/Friend Rhonda treated me to a delicious meal today, a Tuesday around 11:30am. The daily special was a large chili & bean burrito. It was spicy but not too much with the green chile sauce. It was accompanied by a small slice of chocolate chip pudding cream pie that was rich enough to justify a smaller slice than expected. When we saw the pie & the size of the burrito topped with crunchy Fritos; we both wisely cut our burritos in half. Half for a later meal was a good to-go benefit & our quick & helpful waitress expediently accommodated us with containers. I hope to visit again in the near future! I want to wish the Personnel & Customer’s a Happy & safe 249th. Independence Day celebrations!🎆“

“Why have I not written a review by now? We are vegan and trust this place to keep our food ‘cootie free’ - that is huge! But what is almost even better is the waitress we love! Meg! She is so stinkin’ fabulous! She always is so kind, uplifting, helpful and makes perfect recommendations on drinks and food (vegan safe and she is reassuring) . Her giggle! Is fabulous and the best back ground noise EVA!! She remembers our preferences no matter how long it has been since we have come here. Great food with service that makes us tickled to return! The burgers are the star of the show. I had the fried onion burger, and it was absolutely phenomenal—juicy, packed with flavor, and cooked perfectly. You can tell they put real care into the food. The loaded queso is also a must-try, and the sweet potato fries were crispy and on point.
They’ve got a solid beer selection too, which pairs perfectly with the food and overall vibe.

“This is one of those once-in-a-lifetime restaurants that has become more than just a place to eat—it feels like an extension of my own kitchen. I eat at Johnnie's at least three times a week, often more, and it has been my favorite burger spot since I was a kid.

“Amazing service!!! After a terrible experience at the Braum’s on Covell, we still wanted some delicious ice cream, so we drove to the I-35 location afterward. WOW! The service was amazing. The first Braum’s told us we had to order sundaes based on what we asked for, made it incorrectly, and argued with about how we ordered it wrong, but the young men at the I-35 saved us money and made the order so special! I highly recommend this location - service was great and the ice cream was 10/10! Thank you so much!!!“

“Amazing experience. We love Whataburger! This location had wonderful customer service. Our order was slightly messed up (burger was ordered & rang up correctly w/0 onions, but was made with onions. Spouse is highly allergic or this wouldn't have been an issue ). However the staff handled this problem in a professional & speedy manor. Plus the cook himself came out & apologized; Which we thought was super nice.. our food was served fresh, hot & delicious 😋“

“Burger king on our way to Kansas has stepped up their game. Burgers were great, fries were crispy, got, salty, and delicious, and the presentation was not what you normally see at fast food. I had seen the commercials saying they were stepping it up, and at least for this location, they weren't lying!

Now I will have to try them again when we get home to Amarillo and see if they have suit. I hope so! I have always enjoyed their burgers, but for a while now, all they have done is disappoint and make us sick. After my wife got 2 raw chicken sandwiches in 2 consecutive visits, we stopped going to our local ones. Might be time to give them another chance!“

“Nice vibe no pressure. Was greeted on entering and told sit where ever we would like. Nice server came up took out drink order and came back quick. Took food order and it was quick as well. Maybe a tad bit to much mustard on my patty melt but it was a juicy burger and flavors worked. Wife had the pork chop dinner and it was good as well. Hats off to the roasted corn very good flavors and texture.“

“I love lent because all the fish sandwiches come to visit. This one was really nice. I added tomatoes to mine so don't get confused by that. First bite in was bright and crunchy with a surprising twist of lemon in the tarter sauce (I would consider it more of a lemon aoli myself). It was a perfect addition to the fish. Weirdly the top bun was cold and the bottom bun was warm. My husband enjoyed the flame kiss on his burger.“
