Food was amazing! Great flavor! Excuse my plate because it was after I had already ate most of it. We got the Beef Carne a la Mexicana and a trio dinner pictured. Also tried the enchiladas and the beef fajitas.
Great food!
Had lunch at Maverick's Cafe on Taco Tuesday before heading out of town and overall it was a pretty solid stop.
Place was surprisingly quiet when we went in, only saw maybe one other customer the whole time, which was funny because we had driven by the night before and it looked pretty busy. Service was friendly though, and our server made sure to tell us about the Taco Tuesday specials, so we added a couple birria tacos to go with lunch. Glad we did. They say Maverick's makes the best chili verde and great rice. The chicken fajitas and Beef Chili Relleno are delicious, and the yellow queso is very good. The enchiladas are great and the queso is excellent. Chips are excellent quality but could use a little more flavor. The hot sauce and spicy salsa add more, while the regular salsa is more on the tomato flavor side. Service is fast, friendly and the staff is always very nice and attentive. The temperature of the food is on point. The place is awesome and a great place in Eufaula.
