“I know Calico Joe's is more of a sports bar, but they have really good salads! We ate here recently and ordered the crispy chicken Cobb salad and the southwest salad with crispy chicken. Maybe it's the chicken that makes it so good; the salads come with a very generous portion of chicken. But it's also the ranch that really brings the salad together. My son also really likes the chicken sandwich. The service can be hit or miss, but on our recent visit, our waitress was very personable and attentive. This restaurant is a good place for groups because they usually have tables pushed together to accommodate larger parties.“
“I was here just about a year ago on my quest to travel to the other end of the country. I was informed this place had a fantastic Cuban sandwich, so I ordered the Grand Club Sandwich of course. It was served to me to the sound of heavens trumpets blowing. It was a towering masterpiece of mest, cheese, and bread. I was eager to place it firmly within my grasp to devour with a great haste. It was amazing. Better than amazing! The bread was toasted and provided a subtle, yet definitive crunch to contrast the softness of the cheese and meat. It was a life changing meal. I was spent. I had wrestled my demons and put them to bed. I went upstairs and enjoyed my food coma. I carried on with my quest. 1 week later I was due to return. I was informed the pizza was amazing. So I ordered the Grand Club Sandwich of course. Again, it was Deja Vu. I was transported to that fateful day 5 days before hand and it lived up to the test of time. The club sandwich is a culinary masterpiece. It deserves a spot on Starship, so the future of Mankind as it settles the dusty rusty wasteland of Mars knows exactly why we are doing this. Thank you for this sandwich. Thank you for changing my life. Thank you for giving me hope, when all that is around me is darkness and despair. When I am at my worst, I know that out there, there is a club sandwich being enjoyed. Thank you.“
“Love this place food is exceptional especially for such a relaxed bar it's shockingly good and good pricing too. Definitely recommend trying the murrels burger and the mozzarella logs are insane and huge and Indian tacos are just num num num yummy!!“
