“Finally decided to give this place a try since there always seems to be cars...waited so long because the outside seems "dated" and I was skeptical. So glad I did!!! Food was amazing....exactly what I was hoping for ...that amazing diner style taste. For less than 10$ I have enough food for breakfast and leftovers for lunch.My choices....western omelet that had grilled peppers and onions (so happy they weren't raw) with hasbrowns and biscuits and gravy. The biscuits are 2 to an order and are jumbo fluffy biscuits with more than ample gravy for both. Also grabbed some grits for an extra 3$ and was glad I did.“
“Max's/Maxine's is an "ole' reliable" when it comes to the traditional bar scene. Great place to dance the night away with locals. But they've really stepped up their game with the restaurant side of the operation. The food is truly outstanding. The burgers rival any burger in Muskogee. The fried mushrooms are hand breaded and not just fried from frozen, and they are worth getting every single visit. The ranch is top notch. They offer a really delicious Saturday brunch menu, but I wish they would do Sunday brunch. They decorate big for Christmas every year, which is really fun. And they have a seasonal photo area that always has a cute backdrop. The only real struggle with Max's is consistent service. It seems like they are always short-handed and very slow. They take reservations for big groups, but don't actually use them, so you still have to wait, which defeats the purpose of reservations. But I'll continue to go for those fried mushrooms!“

“Looks are deceiving. I passed this place many times thinking it was ran down because the place is original. Someone referred me to it and the food is very good. It's comfort food, granted and I don't recommend eating here daily as your waistline might require a new wardrobe. But the people are very friendly and what I ordered was reasonably priced and very good.“
“My Dad took me to eat here and I hadn't been in several years, Aniaha was our server and I had the absolute best experience that I've had from eating in a restaurant in many years. She always had a smile on her face and her ability to always know when her services were needed were exemplary.This Restaurant is usually a packed house on a daily basis and is alway kept very clean. The bathrooms were also very clean.The Prime Rib, was very flavorful but trying to relay how you want your meat cooked could very well be improved by a microphone that relays the message to the cooks ear, this would help in getting the right cut of meat cooked at the precise amount of doneness, without any confusion of getting more meat or of rarer quality. As the meat that was placed on my plate was more than rare, and only had less than a one-eighth doneness layer on either side.This failure to communicate can't be put on the cook for not being able to hear any relayed messages spoken from customer to cook, but falls on the managerial staff that should be thinking of exemplary measures to fix communication issues as the cooks den is overly loud due to the exhaust fans used for an open floor grill. The customer service staff at the registers may need a little less scowl and needs to smile more, and not show their unsatisfied looks as someone is trying to enjoy their payed for meals. Fix the Icecream machine, or get a soft-serve Ice cream bar that has some of the other Golden Corrals' have to serve ice cream from a bucket, have the basic flavors with an exception of mint chocolate chip and cookies and cream and a praline vanilla bean as these would cause your sales to purge the roof. And the salad bar could use extras, about like any Mazzios Pizza has on any given day.There is plenty of parking, unless there is a line out the door.Vegetarian options: Most menu items have a vegan option available to view the contents of the ingredients for the food in these selections.Parking: If there is a line out the door, finding available parking is next to impossible.Kid-friendliness: The Customer service staff showed exemplary help to all youth in this facility.Wheelchair accessibility: All service area is on the ground floor and the amount of room available for moving between food choices is the added bonus as this would be a problem for any handicap, if there wasn't this added space.“
“First time I was there I'm glad I went instead of going to McDonald's or IHOP cooking was good the pancakes were huge I couldn't eat them all I only and I now I know why they only offer one cuz they're huge LOL but they were good and I had an egg very good and the service was excellent the ladies were so nice the gentleman that cooked my food very well cooked meal and it's just a mom-and-pop diner I think it's it's kind of hidden so you have to you know look make sure you know where you're going use your GPS but I'm pleased with my service thank you“

“We stop in one morning will visiting my mother, and the food was great, each plate had hot, fresh food which tasted great, the coffee was really good as well. The German fried potatos are just like my mom used to make. The French toast is super tasty, as my son put it. And the country gravy delicious too.“

“Loved Station 1 and Muskogee Brewing Co! My husband had some dietary restrictions and the chef made something just for him. We were given the option of tasting several of the draft selections and they were all good. Great atmosphere, happy people, live music. We will be back.“
“We had a hamburger, fries, chicken fried steak toaster / onion rings and an appetizer of fried mushrooms. The chicken fried steak was huge. The chef and everyone came out to see my reaction and I'm my goodness they saw mine and my fiancee, we wasn't expecting what we saw. I had to cut the sandwich in half and shared pieces of it with my man. Although $40. was a bit expensive the flavor of the food was great and the service was excellent.“
“It's a good diner. Burgers and tots were A+ this visit! They were busy so it took a little longer than expected. The table we Sat at had crumbs still on it and felt a little sticky. Luckily we always bring wipes with us. So a little wiping and it was fine. Servers were nice and attentive. Overall we left happy and full.“
