We stop in one morning will visiting my mother, and the food was great, each plate had hot, fresh food which tasted great, the coffee was really good as well. The German fried potatos are just like my mom used to make. The French toast is super tasty, as my son put it. And the country gravy delicious too.
Mel's Diner is one of the only restaurant options on the south side of Muskogee. It's charming, country, cute inside. They do a half diner/half pizza parlor kind of vibe that is very cute. Tonight was my first time trying it, and I regret not going sooner. They offered a super affordable steak dinner Valentine's special that was a great idea. We have eaten at diners literally all over the country. Mel’s is in the top five best of anywhere! Truly a delight to find!!! Since we just retired to Oklahoma, Mel’s will definitely be our “go to” spot from now on!!!
