Oh. My. Dear. Lord. Mattie Jane's has the BEST cookies on planet earth! Listen guys, I'm a fat girl. I love cookies. I've tasted SO many cookies in my 38 years. This place is utterly amazing! The ladies who worked there were super friendly and welcoming too. I have not had the privilege of eating anything other than their cookies, but I will be changing that very soon. Nutshell: Cute decor, friendly staff, tasty treats. Worth a stop in. Wandered in on a week day for lunch. There were a few folks occupying tables when I walked in. I ordered the chicken salad on a croissant with chips and a soda...it was like 90* and a soda was most definitely needed. Just an FYI on procedure: order at the counter, food is brought out, and then you pay before you leave. Flavor and texture of the chicken salad was awesome.
