“This little dive bar has a regular clientele and staff that will pull you into its folds and make you feel at home. Everyone is friendly! Its a clean dive bar/biker bar atmosphere with plenty of free parking in the back, a fantastic bar, 3 well kept pool tables and equipment (free on Mondays), darts, and karaoke on some nights. Come as you are! (I suggest using the entrance behind the bar off of Tecumseh road instead of the Porter entrance)“

“My go to place now when I'm on Norman on business. Could be because it's the best range of smokes in the area but its also the best atmosphere, chilled and relaxed. A great place to hang and a friendly team whether you want help choosing the right smoke or just wana pull up a stool or take a seat. “I’ve loved Bluebonnet for a long time and have been many times without any issues.
That said, I had a disappointing experience last night. I was turned away at the door because I presented my Oklahoma medical marijuana patient card as my ID.

For the record: under Oklahoma law (37A O.S. §6-102(B)(2)), a government-issued document that shows a photograph and proves someone is 21 or older is legally acceptable for age verification. My OMMA card meets all those criteria. It’s issued by the state, includes my photo, date of birth, and expiration date — exactly what the law requires.

The door guy seemed to enjoy turning people away, which made it worse.
Turning away regular customers over a perfectly legal ID is not only bad business, it’s also just unnecessary. I hate seeing a place I like lose customers over something like this.

Hope management takes a look at their door policies. Would love to keep supporting this place.“

“I recently had the pleasure of dining at Benvenuti's Ristorante and it was nothing short of amazing. The atmosphere was warm and inviting and every dish was a masterpiece. I have to mention the poached pear as it was absolutely a delight and is now my favorite food. The veal parmigiana was equally fantastic and the cheesecake was divine. You truly taste the authenticity in every bite. If you're looking for an unforgettable Italian dining experience, this is the place! Get your reservations early as this place books fast! I can't wait to return and explore more of thier menu!“

“I had the grilled salmon. It was cooked perfectly and had really great flavor. I also got a side of brussels sprouts, and those were cooked perfectly and tasted delicious. My husband had the ribeye. He ordered it medium rare, but it was cooked more on the medium side. He said the flavor was good but not as good as some other local restaurants (e.g., Red Rock). He did really love the scalloped potatoes that came on the side. We also had an old fashioned and an amaretto sour. Both of those drinks were excellent.“

“Let me start with we showed up about 5 minutes early for our reservation that had been booked for over 3 months! yes it was game day in Norman but that is not my job to manage your restaurant and tell a group that has too many people for their reservation that you cannot accommodate them. I asked how long ago they were sat in the room and the hostess said just about 15 minutes and no, they had not ordered yet. That is the manager's job and HE FAILED MISERABLY! The manager refused to make them leave. I was so disappointed in the manager on Saturday evening. He chose to give my reservation for the private dining room away to another party and change my seating to a large table in the main dining room. We had planned to watch the football game on the TV in the private room and that was not an option in the main dining room. When the hostess told me the room wasn't available, I showed her my reservation online and asked to speak with the manager. His first words were “I understand we have a problem.” NO I DON'T HAVE A PROBLEM YOU DO! He couldn't even admit he messed up without taking ownership. Samantha is supposed the manager in training about to take over here in the next day or so and she was so kind. It took me a good 30 minutes to get over being so angry, mostly because the table they seated us at was DIRECTLY OUTSIDE MY PRIVATE ROOM!!! I got to watch the party that clearly greased some palms to get my room. Yes, they had the TV on football. Our waitress was perfect and provided great service. The restaurant was a zoo! Another reason we wanted the private room!!! The Marriott & Rally's can & should do better.“

“I visited this location twice in the last week. Service at the bar was very friendly and quick. Food was hot and tasty. The only downside was the limited amount of beers on tap and on hand. Only one IPA and it was an orange flavor. The bar was also out of my 2nd choice on tap. Settled for Blue Moon.“

“The staff were Wonderful to my friend and I while we spent the afternoon there. Our original plan was mini-golf, but when a major cold front dropped the temps 50°, from the 80's to the 30's, we played one hole & then fled for indoors. The staff were the stars of the show. They treated the five of us like we were a family with the last name of Trump or Gates. At every opportunity, we were served and cared foe like the royal family.
I have NEVER been treated with Such high quality and care.
When we left, I was amazed that I had only spent $120–but the dollar amount was small compared to the fun and the five star quality of care we received.
