Friends from Texas came. We all love homemade Italian food 😋. Everything was delicious. Price was excellent. Friends coming back next month lunch is definitely on list to do again. Varies. You can have a great gaberino night where it’s just you and the wait staff and everything is solid and quick, but if they are even a bit busy they kind of crumble. Seem very understaffed. The people who frequent gaberinos range from OU professors to hicks from out of town, or younger people (highschool age), so your experience will likely depend on how rowdy/loud the other patrons are. Their seasonal specials are fantastic. My favorites are the winter pot roast risotto and creamy mushroom soup, the fall sweet potato- roasted chicken ravioli and butternut squash soup, and the summer caprese bruschetta. The current winter Old Fashioned is excellent, also. The service is very attentive and the business is locally-owned. The Italian cream cake is great, too
