Koto Japanese Steakhouse & Sushi

One thing Norman has done right for a long time is the food scene. We recently moved back after living in several other bigger cities like STL, KC, and Chicago. We have been coming here for a while not just for the food, but mostly for the memorable experience. Our last chef was so patient, kind, funny, and thoughtful. He didn’t have to go that extra mile, but our whole family noticed. He fielded a million questions from my 6yo son and we all had several laughs. I’m sure our girl will ask to come back to Koto for her next birthday (again). 10/10

I love the show, but we were not blown away by the dinner. I feel like they use excessive salt and I almost couldn't eat it because of the salty taste of all the food. I also noticed the prices. For 6 people it cost us around 260$ for regular meals. That's a bit steep for this type of dinner.

Entertainment, excellent at the Hibachi grill. Caters to food intolerances and goes the extra mile. And the Food was so so yum yum. Love this place

I didn’t get our waitresses name to shout her out but she was magnificent. We ordered some dumplings to start with and they were some of the best dumplings compared to other restaurants. Both my boyfriend and I ordered the hibachi. Hibachi comes with soup & salad, shrimp, veggies, noodles and rice. Dressing on the salad was yummy and soup was also. I ordered the steak and chicken and he ordered the shrimp and chicken hibachi. Portion sizes for price are fair for sure! We highly recommend eating here and we will certainly be back! Ice cream comes after dinner to round out the meal 😂

Amazing food, went for sushi but tried the Hibachi setup with one sushi roll (Cowgirl) and wow, we are definetly returning for just the sushi.

We have been looking for a good Japanese restaurant and we were not disappointed with the food and service here. Highly recommended.

Good food and service. Seemed a bit pricey. You get a lot of noodles and veggies but the meat portion was a bit small for $85 for 2. However, it was a fun experience and friendly people.

Fun spot for Hibachi and other fine food. Steak was done well and the chef's performance was good.
