I’m not sure if this is a new restaurant or just new name. Same location as the former China House, I believe. It’s right across from the post office on Hefner in a strip shopping center. I got General Tso, take out, order, delicious and enough for 2. The gentleman/cook that waited on me was older & spoke very little English but we managed because I knew what I wanted. Canton House on West Hefner Road has a large menu with plenty of Chinese dishes to choose from. The food is delicious, and the staff is friendly. The dining area is clean and can comfortably seat around 20 to 30 people, with plenty of parking available. One reviewer had a great experience late at night, noting excellent service even with only one employee working, and a quick and easy pickup for a delivery order. Another long-time customer says the food is always excellent and you definitely get your money’s worth, though every other order something is forgotten, like extra wonton for soup or an order of fried bread. Despite this, the food is still amazing. A different reviewer had an issue with a large broccoli and beef order, receiving a small portion instead, but the restaurant corrected the mistake, calling them good people. The owners seem to really take their customers seriously, which is hard to find. Whether dining in or ordering online for pickup, Canton House is a great choice for tasty Chinese food.
