I liked my food and thought it was a decent value. I had to look for help but once I was able to get an employee, the service was great. The doors opening brings in a gush of wind so watch where you sit. The patio may be fun for summer as it's blocked by traffic and tucked away more than some outdoor seating.

Everything except the pita bread was wonderful. Bread was not fresh and a little hard.

I recently had dinner at Hummus Mediterranean Cafe and it was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment we walked in, we felt warmly welcomed by the staff and the cozy, inviting atmosphere. The restaurant has a comfortable, family-friendly vibe with warm lighting and tasteful Mediterranean decor. You can immediately smell the aroma of spices and freshly cooked food in the air, which made us even more excited for our meal.

The service here is truly top-notch. Our server, Alex, was absolutely amazing – he greeted us with a genuine smile, made us feel like valued guests, and went above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic experience. Throughout the evening, Alex was attentive without hovering; our drinks were never empty and he checked on us frequently to make sure we had everything we needed. His warm, personable service really stood out and made our night special.

Alex also made some great recommendations to elevate our meal. Knowing it was our first visit, he took time to ask about our taste preferences and guide us through the menu. The menu had so many tempting options, and we were grateful for his guidance in choosing the perfect dishes for us. One of his suggestions was to start with the restaurant’s signature hummus and fresh pita bread, which turned out to be an excellent choice. The hummus was velvety-smooth and packed with flavor, perfectly balancing garlic, lemon, and tahini. It came with warm, fluffy pita bread that tasted freshly baked — perfect for scooping it all up.

For our main course, we went with Alex’s top recommendation: the gyro platter. The platter was absolutely incredible and generously portioned, and the star was the gyro meat – tender strips of beef and lamb seasoned to perfection. Each bite was juicy and flavorful, with aromatic spices and a slight crisp on the edges for wonderful texture. The platter came with soft, warm gyro bread for wrapping the meat, and a side of tangy yogurt sauce (tzatziki) that was creamy and refreshing with cucumber and herbs – a perfect complement to the rich, savory meat.

It even included their house-signature fries, which were golden and crispy on the outside, fluffy inside, and lightly seasoned with herbs. The combination of the spiced meat, cool sauce, and crispy fries made for an unforgettable meal. It was hands-down one of the best gyro platters I’ve ever had.

By the end of our visit, we were beyond impressed. From the warm atmosphere to the incredible food and outstanding service, everything exceeded our expectations. Alex’s exceptional hospitality truly turned a great meal into an unforgettable experience. We left with full stomachs and big smiles.

I wholeheartedly recommend Hummus Mediterranean Cafe to anyone looking for delicious Mediterranean food in a welcoming setting. Do yourself a favor and try the gyro platter – you won’t regret it. Their food is exceptional! My friend and I share the plate I can't remember what it's called but it's $24. It's filet mignon, chicken, and gyro meat and they divide it into two plates and it's so much food. They serve a garlic sauce and the taziki sauce is delicious. LOVE this restaurant.

I haven't been to this restaurant before but I wanted to get something quick for lunch. I ordered a gyro and hummus, took it home to eat. The hummus was a small bowl of hummus and had what seemed like 5-6 tablespoons of garlic on it. I like garlic, which is why I ordered garlic hummus, but the amount put on it was comical. It seems like a joke how much was put on it. We're talking the entire garlic bulb, 6-7 garlic cloves, or most of a small jar of minced garlic. I don't know who made it but I was honestly insulted getting home and opening it up, realized I had paid for that.

I loved my experience at Hummus Mediterranean Cafe. Alex was my server. He gave incredible service and the atmosphere was to die for. I will definitely be back. My wife and kids couldn't stop talking about how much they loved it here. I would give more stars if I could. Hands down my favorite server and restaurant in Oklahoma City.

I had Alex as a server. My uncle had deadly food allergies and Alex was so perceptive, kind, and understanding. We needed a little bit of extra attention and we got it with a smile. Truly, Alex is the greatest server I’ve ever had. He really puts the “serve” in “server.”
