Johnnie's Charcoal Broiler Reviews
They are always super helpful, courteous, and takes great care of our large group when we come in.
I've been going here for over 50 years, always my go to burger. However, I went this week and for the first time, my burger was not great. Kind of soggy, not much cheese and bun barely toasted.

Haven't been in OKC in a while and was looking forward to a charbroiled burger, this is not at all as good as I remember. Bun is stale, burger overcooked and Johnnies special sauce is a tasteless joke. What a shame.

Johnnie's Charcoal Broiler is a welcoming restaurant that provides good experiences for its customers. The service is commendable, with staff willing to go the extra mile to accommodate special needs. The food is exceptional, particularly the burgers, which are considered the best in OKC, some even saying it's the best on the planet. The blend of flavors is unique and impressive. Fries are also a highlight, cooked to perfection, and hand breaded onion rings are highly praised. The restaurant offers a casual atmosphere with good food, including a very generous slice of coconut pie and sweet tea. Employees are always friendly and caring. While communication could be improved, the staff generally provides nice service. Customers often come for takeout or dine in, enjoying long chats and nostalgic moments. Overall, Johnnie's Charcoal Broiler is a great spot to enjoy a meal, reminiscent of the good old days, and is sure to satisfy customers.
