The Press Reviews
Our family has always had great experiences at the Press and they make sure to take my husband’s food allergies (alpha gal syndrome) seriously- it’s one of our go to places because we never have to worry. I had a not great experience with an employee which was very surprising, but their management immediately reached out. I was really impressed by their kindness and intentionality. They have retained our family as patrons.
My husband and I loved the meatloaf! Staff was very friendly! Loved our waitress Krys. She was very helpful and sweet!

Outstanding!
Very aesthetic, food was very delicious, and the hosts/waiter(tesses) were extremely friendly and welcoming.
It’s not fast food but good food.
I had the meatloaf which was amazing, and my fiancé had the pork belly bowl which he enjoyed as well.

The Press offers a good selection of food, including several vegetarian and vegan options, as well as tasty drinks. The patio is lovely, especially in the evening when the outdoor setting becomes very pretty, making it a relaxing place to sit outside. Service can sometimes be slow, but the staff is generally helpful and attentive. Standout menu items include the President Margarita, Southwest Salad, Cheese, and Chilaquiles. Portions are quite large, making it a good choice for those who enjoy generous servings. The restaurant is praised as a hidden gem in the plaza district, with items like mozzarella sticks and Chicken Fried Steak receiving positive mentions. Customers have enjoyed the buffalo Mac, which was bigger than expected and described as some of the best Mac n cheese ever. The fry bread tacos and sweet potato tator tots are also highly recommended, and the watermelon Crawl drink is refreshing. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming, with some guests noting that dining alone can be very relaxing. Parking can be a challenge in the area, which some guests find to be an issue, but overall, the restaurant is appreciated for its good food and pleasant environment.
