Was pretty good. Waitress was new or usually worked morning but seemed to be the only one so she was doing her best. Our order took a very long time. It was about 50 minutes after our reservation time (and we were early) before we received our food. Not sure why and we never received a reason as to why. It wasn't busy inside, maybe 5-6 tables had people in them. Food wasn't super hot when we got it so not sure if it was sitting back there for a bit and just got overlooked or forgotten...read full review
I had the snapper, my husband the shirt ribs. Both outstanding. The sauces on both were out of this world. My only complaint, I would have bathed in the sauce and they wouldn't let me! We will be back.
Great food and atmosphere! Peach mimosa was made with peach syrup it was still good but not what I expected. The orange juice mimosa was the best :)

Based on the reviews, The Chalkboard Kitchen + Bar OKC offers quite a pleasant lunch or a great dinner. The food is delicious and absolutely amazing. The pumpkin soup is outstanding, and the beef Wellington is spectacular, perfectly cooked. The side Caesar salad has homemade dressing that is just perfect. The service is incredible, wonderfully great, and top notch. The atmosphere is so peaceful and delightful. It is a great OKC spot in the heart of Midtown, close to lots of shopping spots. The restaurant can accommodate large groups, like a birthday party of 14 people. It is the best breakfast in town and ideal for early meetings at 7am. The Sous Chef came out and checked on everyone.
