We read a bad review before going here & we were so glad we gave Punkin’s a try!!! Ordered the 2pc catfish & sliced brisket sandwich BOTH TASTED HOMEMADE!!! So delicious, the brisket was tender & the catfish was actual catfish not frozen ? would recommend!
The food was pretty ok, the service was great, the staff was super nice. I just find it crazy that my bill was almost $70 for 3 meals. A pick 2 BBQ, 2 pc catfish and chicken fried steak and 3 drinks.....was like $69+ an $11 tip. Definitely wasn't planning on spending $80

Arrived just after opening on a Sunday. It wasn't too busy but that quickly changed to a full house. The waitress was friendly and very helpful. The food was very good. I did the pick 3 getting pulled pork, Chopped brisket, and the jalapeno sausage. I had plenty to take home. Being from the north, I have never heard of a picked bar but it seemed popular with the locals. Glad I stopped!
