Absolutely the best catfish in the state. The pork chops are freaking amazing. I highly recommend dining at Punkins. You won't be disappointed.
Amazing food, and friendly staff! The BBQ ribs and brisket were so good, but so was the fried catfish! The iced tea and cobbler were absolutely perfect!
Visiting from Texas. My husband got the sliced brisket plate and I got the fried catfish plate. Everything was delicious and cooked to perfection. They were very busy, but got our food to us very promptly. A man (I’m assuming the owner/mgr?) and a woman (maybe his wife?) checked on us, asked how everything was. Our waitress we had was also very sweet!! Very good service! They have LOTS of entrees to choose from. We will be back!

Punkin's Bar-B-Que & Catfish is a must-stop spot on the way to Dallas. The BBQ is some of the best, with huge portions that won't disappoint. The ribs are tender, the sauce delicious, and the sides like grilled veggies and sweet potato fries are top-notch. The staff is incredibly kind and the owner shows genuine care for them. For the best catfish in a long time, excellent service, and tasty sides like baked beans and bread & butter pickles, Punkin's is the go-to place for a satisfying meal.
The parking lot is always full, but there is plenty of room inside. Guests get seated quickly and served fast. The brisket, hot links, and fries are delicious, and the fried Brussels sprouts are a tasty new option. The restaurant smells amazing—clean and fresh without strong cleaners. Though the outside looks a bit aged, the inside is immaculate, with perfect lighting and volume. The menu offers just the right variety, not overwhelming, and the desserts are yummy. Most meals cost around $20+, but the portions are generous. The friendly staff makes every visit a great dining experience.
