Little hometown cafes are a thing of the past but this place has survived. The food was really good and the prices were great. I will go there again in the future.

Took my mother in law for dinner and the food was not presentable. Both our mashed potatoes were ice cold. My husband's plate came out with a grilled piece of chicken that had a slice of cheese on it and BBQ sauce dumped on it. We were never offered refills and none of our bill was taken off.
Went in for late lunch, wanted a relaxing meal due to being under tremendous stress lately, everything fine until midway through meal when heard server ask where was 2nd shift, another server told her, server called in and would be late, all this said loud where patrons could hear, server unhappy complaining that this person is always late in coming in, and others having to pull her weight. 4 servers at the pay desk gossiping not waiting on patrons, so much for my relaxing meal, I don't carry cash, so I asked for 20.00 off my card to give my waitress for tip, the girl at the register hatefully said we will have to charge you to use the card, I told her I didn't care, I had already been charged to use the card when I paid for my meal, she wanted to put the tip on my receipt, I told her no I wanted to hand it to my waitress personally, she said well she will get it, I told her again I wanted to give it to my waitress personally, anyway this girl at the register had a attitude, that whole experience ruined my relaxing meal.

Great mom and pops restaurant. They have classic home made meals. Pot roast, fry fish, chicken, etc. Sundays they are closed. This is a place I will frequently visit.

Went on a weekday, mid-morning. Seated promptly with a group of 12. Most all had breakfast items, a few ordered lunch.
Food was good, service was good, speed from order to served was good. No complaints, no issues.
I had eggs, hash browns, toast, sausage and bacon, with an icy cold Dr Pepper . All came as ordered. Dr Pepper was super.
Would dine there again!

This was our first time dining here as we live in West Texas. The food and service were exceptional. We will definitely return whenever we're in the area.

Excellent home-cooked meal however bare minimum of service. Served our water and meal waited for ten minutes for silverware. Felt like we put the waitress out sorry she had to work and serve us. Her gratuity reflected a sling the food and be gone!!!
