First, the burger was outstanding! The only negative was the drive thru - we didn't know that if you're in the right lane someone will come out to your car for payment and to deliver your food. We actually drove around the building figuring it out. Like I said though, the burger was one of the best I've ever had.

Got the breakfast bowl. It was 90% chesse. A little gravy over the biscuit. The sausage was burnt. Looks like they took the hashbrowns and smashed them up. Only 2nd try going there here in ponca. Not worth the money. Both times has been bad.

Whataburger, a proud Texas-born trademark, has built its legacy on legendary hospitality and fresh, blazing-hot fries a Texas standard that should never be compromised. Yet this location allowed that legacy to crumble on impact the moment service began.
The building and dining area were pristine inside and out — a visually strong first impression. However, the service from one employee completely destroyed that expectation. I ordered a #5 with fresh fries, but what I received was a stale and unacceptable version of what Whataburger stands for. Even after acknowledging the mistake and promising to remake them, the fresh fries never came a failure in both follow-through and basic customer respect.
Then, as if to highlight the disregard for customers even further, I overheard the same employee speak to another customer whether they were friends or not remains unclear but I heard as clear as daylight: “Get up and get it yourself,” while she pointed toward the Coke machine. That dismissive attitude doesn’t just fall short it shatters the foundation of Whataburger’s renowned hospitality.
The experience was concerning enough that I immediately brought it to the manager’s attention not just for myself, but to ensure no other Texan endures this kind of treatment at a Texas-born icon.
This location must restore the true spirit of Whataburger where service is delivered with pride, and fries arrive hot, fresh, and without excuses.
