Stayed in Sallisaw OK for 3 nights. Charlie's is great homestyle comfort food. We had the buffet with add on ribs. mmmmmmm! The chicken is crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. A must stop if you are hungry!
We were about 1/2 way through a 9 hour drive and were looking for somewhere to eat that wasn't too far off I-40. The wife found Charlie's on an internet search and we're really glad she did. We had initially planned to get a sandwich, but one look at the buffet convinced us to go that route. Charlie's has an excellent buffet at a reasonable price. The best buffet around. Not sure who makes the chicken and dumplings but omg so close to my mommas. I come here often and am never disappointed, except they need peach cobbler more often.
