Food is always amazing, my favorites are the Carolina pimento and the ABC on sourdough, but honestly i haven't tried anything I didn't like, and the decor in the restaurant is adorable
The Lunch Box in Shawnee has amazing sandwiches! I had the turkey cranberry sandwich, husband had the basic turkey sandwich. They were both remarkably delicious - warm, thick, juicy slices off a roasted turkey breast. Turkey cranberry had turkey slice, cranberry sauce and cream cheese on a warm croissant, and the basic turkey sandwich had turkey slice, Swiss cheese, lettuce, tomato, mayo and red onion on toasted hearty white bread. I was off work running errands and wanted to break for lunch. I went by a couple places I have been wanting to try but they were closed. That's when I spotted The Lunch Box. I really hope this place does well because the lunch was fabulous. The restaurant is clean and the staff friendly. I had the grilled ham & Swiss with a cup of spicy tomato soup.
