The cashier took my money and did not give me my change when i called it to his attention “whAt ever” was the response and he could not make change! Bill was 14.10 i gave him 2 tens …gave me 90 cents….finally we told him what he owed! The management should not have him be the first impression! This was my first time here NOT impressed! Drove 7 miles to be the first time and now the last time!
We had some of our favorite foods made for a baby shower: beef and broccoli, chicken on a stick, coconut shrimp, general tso's chicken, and eggrolls. We also had a mocha mousse cake and a raspberry mousse cake. Every single thing was delicious. I highly recommend Buffet Palace for parties and/or events!!!
Food was very bland. Not enough traditional Chinese choices in food. Even dessert was less than expected. Will not return

Buffet Palace is a large buffet with a huge selection of food choices. The restaurant features a grill where chefs will grill items to order. There is a lot of variety, including many seafood options, Asian dishes, American dishes, and a sushi and hibachi station. Specific items mentioned include beef and broccoli, chicken on a stick, coconut shrimp, general tso's chicken, bourbon chicken, sesame chicken, sweet & sour chicken, egg rolls, spring rolls, fried wontons, steamed dumplings, lo mein, fried rice, sauteed mushrooms, mocha mousse cake, raspberry mousse cake, and orange cream cake. They also have Ramune soda.
Reviews on the food quality are mixed. Some diners find everything fresh and delicious, with excellent and superior food, especially for parties and events. They note delicious desserts and that items like the dumplings, cakes, and certain chicken dishes are very good. Others report inconsistent experiences, describing some food as burnt, cold, bland, soggy, old, or just average. The fried rice is described as not great, while lo mein has good flavor. A common complaint is that many food items are not labeled correctly.
The service receives both praise as excellent and criticism for being possibly rude or having a language barrier. The restaurant is described as clean enough even when busy. Pricing is considered within reason for all-you-can-eat, though there is a note about being charged the dinner price during what should be lunch hours. Overall, some customers highly recommend it and plan to return, while others feel it is adequate but would not choose to go back independently.
