El Chico Reviews
We’ve been coming here for 30 years. The one on 21st has gone down hill. Ordered a regular margarita and it was terrible. Tasted off and no alcohol tasted. I have been going here since I was a little girl, and I love this place! El Chico is a cozy Tex-Mex restaurant known for its amazing service and delicious food. The tortilla soup is a must-try, especially for those feeling under the weather. While some guests have reported restroom issues, the overall experience is fantastic, earning a 5-star rating. The friendly staff and tasty dishes make it a perfect stop for travelers or anyone looking for an enjoyable dining experience.
The restaurant's tacos, enchiladas, cheese sauce, chili con carne, salad, sides, and chips and salsa are reminiscent of the classic Tex-Mex flavors that the owner grew up with. The pickled relish and tortillas are still a staple, and the wait staff is consistently pleasant and efficient, ensuring a pleasant visit every time.
Some guests have noted that the restaurant was not busy during their visit, making for a nice and quiet atmosphere. However, a few customers have experienced slower service and issues with the quality of the guacamole and fajitas. Despite these occasional hiccups, the overall consensus is that the food is good, and the restaurant is worth returning to.
