We had an absolute blast here! The food was excellent (humongous, juicy, succulent, tender scallops? Steak perfectly done to order? Awesome shrimp? Deliciously prepared veggies cooked to perfection? The food was good and plentiful. Our cook was fun and put on a great show. I don’t necessarily like the idea that you’re forced to share with another group, and I also felt like it was rushed. I could have spent more time savoring the difference dishes and perhaps enjoying some drinks from the bar but they had us in and out in under an hour. Shogun rocks! While most of these 'teppanyaki' japanese steakhouses are very similar, shogun stands out as feeling a bit more comfortable and less like an amusement park. Often these places rush you in and out and provide minimal service. Shogun does not make you feel rushed, and while the servers may not be 5 star waitpeople, they certainly are attentive and add to the experience. Food is great, show is fun, our kids love it and so do we!
