This is a very old hotel downtown that has been recently updated. Negatives: no valet parking and you have to park a block away inside a tight parking garage and walk across a "sky bridge" to enter the hotel. The elevators are small and rickety. And the sign on the new pretty shower says due to being an old building it takes a long time to get hot water...so you have to turn on the shower and sink water simultaneously and wait a few minutes for hot water. Ok hotel is decent. I had issues with the parking. No free parking. The parking is managed by a third party and is expensive. If you lose the ticket you will have to pay again to check out and the philtower garage parking lot folks told me they don't issue refunds. I have submitted a complaint but may not hear from garage tower. The hotel generously refunded my the extra cost I paid to park. If you do park in parking garage, don't lose the ticket and take a photo!

Very happy with the hotel. Some people complained about parking, but it's not unusual for a downtown hotel. Parking next to the hotel and using the sky bridge to the lobby was very easy. Room was spacious and clean. Front desk staff was friendly. Only small issue was housekeeping knocked on our door about 9:30 and asked us when we we're leaving, even though we had the do mot disturb sign on the door. We were awake, but could be an issue if someone wanted to sleep in.
