“My partner and I went in a couple nights ago maybe 10 minutes before close and ended up being there until 20 minutes after close, not knowing or ever feeling rushed (we found out when we looked the place up yesterday). I got the smoked salmon and he got the sirloin and chicken, and we were both beyond satisfied with our food. The server we had was incredible and wasn’t at our table too much or too little, refills were perfect, and he was genuinely so kind. We’ll be back, but this time at a decent time. Can’t recommend this place enough“
“After driving up from Fort Worth to attend Red Earth, we were definitely hungry for a Navajo Taco! The Press did not disappoint!The heart of this meal is fried bread, which is difficult to make. Their home recipe is amazingly tasty. Topped with bean and meat chili, tomatoes, jalapeño, and sour cream.Our waiter was both polite and prompt.Could not have been more pleased.Highly recommend you check this gem restaurant out!Parking: Abundant street parking.“
“My wife and I had another wonderful meal at Iron Star this afternoon. Service was prompt and food was great. This is still one of the best restaurants in town for barbecue. Quiet atmosphere, very good sides, and ribs and turkey today. All perfectly done.“
“Visited this location for the very first time and I must say the food was really good. I had the grilled chicken, greens, candied yams and peach cobbler. I’m not a big fan of the baked candied yams. The lady who served me was very friendly. I’m looking forward to brining my family in for Sunday dinner. Overall, the service and food was great and I will definitely eat here again.P.S. the only reason I gave a 4 star rating is because they were out of pecan pie the day I went. Lol. Once I try the pecan pie, I will come back and update my rating. ??Edit: I came in this Sunday with the husband and kids and guess what?!?! They had Pecan Pie. I must say. Sooo good. “This place is so modern and clean. ? I had the Nashvillian which was delicious! ? My nephew tried the Hot Chicken sandwich and he said it was good. ? The banana pudding was scrumptious! My wife ordered the chicken strips which was a little disappointing. All in all the sandwiches were well worth it!! ?“
“Fun restaurant with a very well rounded menu. Prices were pretty high, but you got a good amount of food for the price. I got the “half bird” and it was strictly just fried chicken with a little parsley sprinkled on top, it desperately was in need of some sort of seasoning. I got a dipping sauce with my meal, but it just felt a little awkward and intended more for tenders. The Mac and cheese was creamy, but I could hardly taste any cheese. The fries however seemed homemade and were great!“

My particular favorite is the chicken strips meal. They also have selections of about any type of chicken.
