“Came here and ordered a big order for a youth organization. I called in advance to place an order for 20 kids for take out and gave them my budget and they were super accommodating. We got pizza, pasta, breadsticks and drinks. I definitely recommend them if you need to do catering orders and the place was super clean and they had a few seats for dine in but not a lot.”

From the moment we stepped inside, it was clear that this wasn’t just a restaurant—it was someone honoring their family history and love of cooking for others. We met Rose, the heart and soul of Rocco’s, who told us she needed to deliver a catering order herself because a driver hadn’t shown up. She asked us to come back in 20 minutes, so we walked around the block. When we returned, we were welcomed inside by a friendly couple who were friends of Rose while we awaited her return. As we chatted about Alliston’s seasonal events—like the potato festival parade and the tree bonfire—it felt like we were already part of the community. When Rose returned, she couldn’t believe we had come back! She greeted us with a warm hug and shared her excitement about welcoming us to the neighborhood. Despite her long day, she was full of energy and kindness. Rose shared stories about her family, the history of the restaurant, and her passion for cooking. She even introduced us to her three gentle giant dogs, who added to the cozy atmosphere. Before we could decide what to order, Rose ran into the kitchen and whipped up a delicious appetizer of pasta and garlic bread for us—just because she wanted to. When we finally mentioned we’d heard about the veal parm sandwich (which wasn’t even on the menu!), she lit up. Rose suggested trying both the veal and chicken, and we chose cheese and sweet peppers toppings. The sandwiches were incredible. The veal was tender and flavourful, the chicken juicy, the cheese thick and gooey, and the sauce and peppers tied everything together perfectly. But what truly set this experience apart was Rose’s generosity and passion. Payment was never discussed, and Rose simply wanted to share her love of food and her story with us. We left Rocco’s back into the cold but were warmed by Rose and her friend’s hospitality as well as our hot sandwiches. If you’re in Alliston, you must visit Rocco’s—not just for the incredible food, but for the unforgettable experience Rose creates. Thank you, Rose, for welcoming us so warmly to the neighborhood!”

The owner is incredibly aware of their service & food and goes to great lengths to ensure of their quality time and time again. I've frequented this location for over 7 years, not a single time have I had anything negative to say about this location, the staff, or the food that they serve.

As I go to other food service locations or restaurants, I never necessarily enjoy the meal that I'm getting, I simply think that what I'll have will be better than having a Pita. I often find myself to simply be incorrect.

Pita Pit Alliston continues to be handled by incredible staff, a fantastic and welcoming owner and serving delicious pita's each and every single day.

They will do anything they possibly can in order to have your order ready for when you come by and when they don't have an ingredient on hand that you order? They CALL and let you know about it....Not a SINGLE restaurant in years has called me besides them for an order, other food services simply JUST don't tell me until I get home and I find out "Why am I missing this item I definitely ordered and paid for".

“Jessica’s cookies are absolutely amazing. Not only are they little edible pieces of art, they are the perfect sweetness; she never disappoints. Her communication and attention to detail just make the ordering process so easy. I’ve ordered for a couple of occasions and rest assured will be ordering again! “I have always been very happy with ANY Halibut House location. I love fish and chips. But I'm writing this review today because it's the first time I had ever tried the battered mushrooms. WOW! I was expecting small button mushrooms. I ordered take out. When I opened the box, they were eight large mushrooms, a great batter and good ranch dipping sauce as well.

I think another time I might consider just getting the mushrooms for a meal. I was really impressed.”

From the display to the variety to the very pleasant customer service and then to the taste. I would definitely recommend here for any event, get together or just a treat for yourself and family. “I went there for Chicken shwarma wrap which is my favourite from Osmow's Shawarma. Out of all Osmow's Shawarma I tried, this was the best I ever had. All the toping and chicken was evenly wrapped in pitta bread.

The customer service was the best, an employee named Bassem who took my order and made the Shawarma for me was really nice to me. I really appreciate the customer service here.

“Omg I need to take a min to review this amazing pizza We are new to the area and decided to stop in yesterday for a pizza. We smelt it all the way home and couldn’t wait to dive in. At first bite we where in heaven. The dough was chewy and flavourful yet crisp and had an amazing crunch. The sauce was so yummy a perfect marinara balance. The spicy garlic dipping sauce took it up a notch more (if that is every possible) definitely our favourite pizza ever!!”
