“Came here and ordered a big order for a youth organization. I called in advance to place an order for 20 kids for take out and gave them my budget and they were super accommodating. We got pizza, pasta, breadsticks and drinks. I definitely recommend them if you need to do catering orders and the place was super clean and they had a few seats for dine in but not a lot.”

From the moment we stepped inside, it was clear that this wasn’t just a restaurant—it was someone honoring their family history and love of cooking for others. We met Rose, the heart and soul of Rocco’s, who told us she needed to deliver a catering order herself because a driver hadn’t shown up. She asked us to come back in 20 minutes, so we walked around the block. When we returned, we were welcomed inside by a friendly couple who were friends of Rose while we awaited her return. As we chatted about Alliston’s seasonal events—like the potato festival parade and the tree bonfire—it felt like we were already part of the community. When Rose returned, she couldn’t believe we had come back! She greeted us with a warm hug and shared her excitement about welcoming us to the neighborhood. Despite her long day, she was full of energy and kindness. Rose shared stories about her family, the history of the restaurant, and her passion for cooking. She even introduced us to her three gentle giant dogs, who added to the cozy atmosphere. Before we could decide what to order, Rose ran into the kitchen and whipped up a delicious appetizer of pasta and garlic bread for us—just because she wanted to. When we finally mentioned we’d heard about the veal parm sandwich (which wasn’t even on the menu!), she lit up. Rose suggested trying both the veal and chicken, and we chose cheese and sweet peppers toppings. The sandwiches were incredible. The veal was tender and flavourful, the chicken juicy, the cheese thick and gooey, and the sauce and peppers tied everything together perfectly. But what truly set this experience apart was Rose’s generosity and passion. Payment was never discussed, and Rose simply wanted to share her love of food and her story with us. We left Rocco’s back into the cold but were warmed by Rose and her friend’s hospitality as well as our hot sandwiches. If you’re in Alliston, you must visit Rocco’s—not just for the incredible food, but for the unforgettable experience Rose creates. Thank you, Rose, for welcoming us so warmly to the neighborhood!”

Her communication and attention to detail just make the ordering process so easy. I’ve ordered for a couple of occasions and rest assured will be ordering again! “One of my favourite Pita pits in all of Canada . Excellent customer service and the quality and passion they put into each wrap is fantastic . I recently took my mom there for the first time and she absolutely loved the chicken caesar wrap .

“Hands down one of the best Osmow’s experiences I’ve had! I ordered the Shawarma on the Rocks and it was incredible — piping hot, fresh off the grill, and packed with flavour. But what really made this visit stand out were the amazing people behind the counter. Super friendly, fast, and you can tell they take real pride in what they do. Great food, even better service. I’ll definitely be back!”

“I tried the baked goods today (scones and butter tarts) at the International Woman's Day Market and they were amazing. From the display to the variety to the very pleasant customer service and then to the taste. I would definitely recommend here for any event, get together or just a treat for yourself and family. “I have always been very happy with ANY Halibut House location. I love fish and chips. But I'm writing this review today because it's the first time I had ever tried the battered mushrooms. WOW! I was expecting small button mushrooms. I ordered take out. When I opened the box, they were eight large mushrooms, a great batter and good ranch dipping sauce as well.

I think another time I might consider just getting the mushrooms for a meal. I was really impressed.”

“Omg I need to take a min to review this amazing pizza We are new to the area and decided to stop in yesterday for a pizza. We smelt it all the way home and couldn’t wait to dive in. At first bite we where in heaven. The dough was chewy and flavourful yet crisp and had an amazing crunch. The sauce was so yummy a perfect marinara balance. The spicy garlic dipping sauce took it up a notch more (if that is every possible) definitely our favourite pizza ever!!”
