“My family and I stopped here today, during an outing along the surrounding two lakes and river. What a great atmosphere as soon as we walked through the doors - the staff all greeted us with big smiles. All of the servers were amazing, especially towards my 16 month old grandson. I will absolutely say this is a family friendly restaurant, with fantastic homestyle meals - we ordered the fish tacos, broasted chicken, quesadilla, and kid's chocolate chip pancakes. With such a good experience, we will definitely return to explore more from their menu. Thanks Mealtime Express!!“

“Visited this bar in the off-season. The weather was chilly but still ready for a beer. Found this gem through Google Maps. I was pleasantly impressed to find Corona and generous slice of lime. That's me...happy! My husband had a Walkerville Honest Lager and a pint of Sons of Kent which was their rotating tap. He loved both! The bartender was pleasant...Abbie...and a lot of fun to chat with. We were joined by a few other people who appeared to be locals and had a great discussion between all of us about sports, local places to go an of course, the beer. Unfortunately, we didn't have time for a meal but the food looked good. Recommend finding your way over to this clean, friendly and fun place if you are visiting Amherstburg.“

“Always pleasant at SR. Did a To-Go order this time. The chicken gravy on the carved turkey dinner was delicious. The green beans were similar to fresh. Probably the steam type in a bag that is long, not a can version. My potato skins were delicious as usual. The Club was very good as usual but needed to add mayo or other of your choice when we got it home. I enjoyed my tuna salad croissant in-house more than the one I had this time. I prefer not leaf lettuce for next time. The coleslaw was okay. I wouldn't get it again but that is my choice. Hubby added pepper and some other stuff to his to make it taste better. We love this restaurant and have been going there for at least 7 years now. Friendly waitstaff and other staff. Mike has a great place to keep it alive. Lots of menu choices. Always busy during peak times. Only wish they could expand and even have a banquet room on site. Parking is always so full and if the parking lot is full, usually means the restaurant is full or you may have a few minute wait. Booths need a little more room for the larger folks that come. There are only a couple of tables with chairs so some groups have to wait a little longer to be seated at them. If you can be fitted at a booth, they are a little tight for larger folks. They can take the wall partition down in the center to seat a larger group in two booths if needed.“

“I eat here fairly regularly. Especially breakfast. The best veggie omelet I've ever had. Coffee comes fast and often. They know my name (and I know theirs too). Good prices and they never rush me. Just wish they were open earlier and later.“

“My family has been eating at Mom's for about 20 years(yummy food, sweet bar). That in itself should show how great it is. The best part? Wonderful, friendly, efficient staff. When the staff has stayed with a restaurant for many years it means the owners treat them really well.
FYI During the Covid19 pandemic the owners sent food to the essential workers our local hospital. So caring and generous?.“

“Unfortunately, I just received the worst customer service at a restaurant. At Six Star In Woodhaven. We got two burgers from carry out, mine was like rubber and my fiancé had a hair in her burger. They made us drive all the way back to prove it. Then they decided she had eaten "too much" of it for a refund. Made us wait 20 minutes for that bs response and handed us a new batch of fries to make up for it. Best part was the owner was too much of a whimp to communicate that awful response to us directly. He made a waitress say it to us after waiting all that time.“

“Nona’s is a small quiet restaurant located in Taylor Michigan. The food quality and portions are on the plus side. The staff are pleasant and attentive. This is a place where you can get breakfast at 8 PM and steak and potatoes at 6 AM! There’s a lot of choices, just be sure you don’t make yours too late!“

As a business owner myself I understand the customers who use cc are cutting into profits. Therefore I raised my prices accordingly.t When you upcharge me I take the upcharge out of the tip. Sorry that may offend people but I wasn't told there was an upcharge before I ordered my food. Waitress should be sure to tell the customer before taking the order.“

“Understaffed, but who is not these days. Waitress did the best she could since she was only one on the floor. Pot roast is typically really good, meat was tough this time and carrots raw in the center. Omelette was runny and little filling. Typically not like this when we eat here . We will go back but was very disappointed this evening for the amount you are billed. Tipped the waitress well as she was stressed but still was smiling.“
