“This visit was a totally different vibe I ordered the sliders and they were way too done. The patties were too thin if you want to cook them like that then don't make them like paper thin make them thicker. I always forget to take pictures of my meals so I can share with you guys. But they still are the best restaurant around for breakfast in Downriver area so don't let this discourage you from going to check out Secret Recipes because they still are the Bomb .“

“My family has been eating at Mom's for about 20 years(yummy food, sweet bar). That in itself should show how great it is. The best part? Wonderful, friendly, efficient staff. When the staff has stayed with a restaurant for many years it means the owners treat them really well.
FYI During the Covid19 pandemic the owners sent food to the essential workers our local hospital. So caring and generous?.“

“Nona’s is a small quiet restaurant located in Taylor Michigan. The food quality and portions are on the plus side. The staff are pleasant and attentive. This is a place where you can get breakfast at 8 PM and steak and potatoes at 6 AM! There’s a lot of choices, just be sure you don’t make yours too late!“

“Unfortunately, I just received the worst customer service at a restaurant. At Six Star In Woodhaven. We got two burgers from carry out, mine was like rubber and my fiancé had a hair in her burger. They made us drive all the way back to prove it. Then they decided she had eaten "too much" of it for a refund. Made us wait 20 minutes for that bs response and handed us a new batch of fries to make up for it. Best part was the owner was too much of a whimp to communicate that awful response to us directly. He made a waitress say it to us after waiting all that time.“

“The food is amazing! Everything was cooked to perfection. The servers are friendly and patient. The cost was very reasonable, especially for a family of four. Cooked and served fast and with a smile. We will be back and our daughter now wants to celebrate her 11th birthday there. Everything is homemade and delicious. Now, one of our new favorite places to have a family meal.“

“what to say when you don't want to give a bad review, but you also don't want to give a good one? How this restaurant has changed since Covid. Before: great service, good prices food was top notch. After: mediocre to bad service, prices much much higher, food not good. After dining here for nearly 20 years our visit today was our last. I'm not sure if there are new owners or what has occurred but the change of staff has had a negative effect. Time to find a new coney Island.“

“This is one of my go-to spots for takeout and it's about time I reviewed. Frankly I'm a little surprised to see negative comments about both the food, service, and prices, because I explicitly decided I needed to leave a review and rave about each. First, the convenience of their online ordering & drive thru pick up window (which closes @ 9) is fantastic. But also, the food quality (& portions) are great for the prices, especially in today's economy. My go-to is a large greek salad, which always has GREAT quality ingredients (and an ample amount of variety, too, not just loads of lettuce & some sad tomatoes) and a cup of lemon rice soup, which is deliciously rich & loaded with flavor. I've also had their spinach pie dinner several times and am always satisfied. I have not dined in here, but have come in to pick up orders, and the people I've encountered have been nothing but friendly and positive. In my opinion this place is a neighborhood gem, I will be gutted if they ever close.“

“Understaffed, but who is not these days. Waitress did the best she could since she was only one on the floor. Pot roast is typically really good, meat was tough this time and carrots raw in the center. Omelette was runny and little filling. Typically not like this when we eat here . We will go back but was very disappointed this evening for the amount you are billed. Tipped the waitress well as she was stressed but still was smiling.“
