We also noted that the restaurant accepts both credit and debit cards, which adds convenience for customers who prefer non-cash payments. However, they might be slow during concert days, ranging from 30+min for orders to turn around. One of the better taco places that we have tried!

The flavours were delicious, and we appreciated the variation among the fillings. Even after bringing the food back to our nearby hotel, the quality remained good in takeaway form.

In terms of service and location, this is a small, family-run operation, and the atmosphere reflects the friendly but with potential fluctuation in service speed, particularly during peak times when there are concert events in Hamilton. We noticed that turnarounds can be longer than typical restaurant expectations, so customers should plan for a slower pace during busier periods, about 30-40 minutes. It was my first time trying this place & absolutely loved it. We ordered the calamari & tacos which were divine. All the flavours were there. We didn’t order anything with alcohol in it, but the drinks we had were still good too! I don’t wanna say her name out of respect (starts with a J), but our waitress was also super friendly & has good banter! Overall, it was a great experience & I’ll definitely be coming back 😌“

“BarBurrito is one of my favorite places to grab a meal! I usually order the chicken bowl, and it never disappoints. The ingredients are always fresh, the portions are generous, and everything is packed with flavor.

“I didn’t order there but we were greeted by very sweet staff. A stranger we were helping who was lost from her friends and drunk had to get some water and they gave her two refills. They didn’t have a cup but they made something work so she could have water. She also asked about handing back an opened pop and they said no and they handled her state well and I really respect the staff here. The night we were greeted with a lot of rude staff other places so I respect it! Best.“

“Big, spacious location, reasonably clean & large individual, mobility & gender-friendly washrooms [at least at the time of my visit]. My high school friend since 25 years ago hadn't had Taco Bell in THREE. YEARS. Last year, I ordered UberEats from the location in question [677 Upper James] & was hesitant because the portions didn't match the crazy price I paid but that's UE for you. So high school friend was visiting me from Montréal where the people are far too picky for junk tacos. We grew up hankering The Bell back in Scarborough on a regular basis as it was relatively close to our school & the nostalgia was eating us alive so we just had to go & she drove us to one of the nicest locations in Hamilton [again, 677 Upper James]. Food was warm, generous amount & varieties of salsa, vegetarian needs perfectly accommodated [she's veg, I'm flex], refillable fountain pop, incredibly friendly staff [I knew I was being annoying because I wanted everything & with veg substitutions]. Thank you for the unforgettable experience. Will probably be back with my man.“
