“Stopped here specifically to tryout probably the most awarded butter tarts in Canada and were not disappointed.All the awards are displayed on multiple shelves and look very impressive.You can have coffee with tarts, pies or icecream right there on the spot or take them with you.We chose a mix of 6 tarts to go and every single one was extremely delightful for our tastebuds.Even if you are not a big fan of butter tarts you will probably become one after visiting this place and try those out. Can't even compare with the ones in the regular stores.Definitely a must visit in the area.Parking: Free parking in front of the store.”

“Best craft brewery in Peterborough by far. While there is no food available really to speak of the beers themselves are very good if you're into craft beers. The staff are polite and are willing to help with any questions you might have. The atmosphere is very industrial but it is an actual brewery rather than a brew pub so it's what's expected. Worth a stop in if you're in the area or on the way to cottage country.”

“Went for all you can eat dinner. Things are done differently here. I didn't know if I'd actually like their style. Which is, you go through the menu, and order a plate for the table. You can order anything on the menu, you just have to finish it or pay for it as take out when you leave? I have no idea how that is as I finished everything I ordered. The food was all fantastic. The great thing about the way you order is the food is always fresh! The price is high, but you understand why after you eat there. The quality of the food and the service is also high!Gonna stop in for lunch next time and see what that menu is like.”

“Our place to go for excellent food. Becky is great. We used to go to the Golden Wheel where Becky was before opening up the Happy Palace. You won't find any better. I have always maintained you can tell a great Chinese restaurant by the amount of chicken in their chicken balls. Becky's are chicken in batter not batter with a taste of chicken.”

“Tim Hortons has a quality blend of coffee that is in my opinion better than McDonald's. Their variety of donuts (baked from frozen, but the icing is added at the store), adds to the overall delightful experience. However, an area for improvement is the efficiency of their drive-thru, which can sometimes be a bit congested. Tim Hortons is not just a coffee shop but a part of our memories.”
