Good local restaurant with a large menu of typical Canadian Chinese restaurant favourites along with plenty of dishes from northern and western areas.

Great taste, especially if you like spicy chinese. Portion is large ($10-16 each ish), its not set menu (if you order one dish, it wouldn't come with rice or soup, you’ll get as is). May suitable for group and share, rather than a couple people.

Magical Taste of China definitely lives up to its name! The chicken fried rice is flavorful and perfectly cooked, and the General Tso’s chicken is crispy, saucy, and just the right balance of sweet and spicy. So delicious!!! The customer service was great too; friendly and efficient. Highly recommend if you’re craving tasty Chinese food!

I’m pleased with their cooking, the amount of food is generous enough for two people, the taste is speechless, I tried goat tripe and I can say I never ate anything like that before! The ramen bowl wooow was fantastic!! Definitely I’ll back!!

Guys. You really need some better lamb skewers. It is not fresh at all. It tasted like you made it like 2 days ago, then put in fridge for 4 days and then brought to us. The worst I have ever had. I can do better than that at home.

I will not be able to rate anything because, as I entering the restaurant an employee said they were closed. Everything shows they are open but was not allowed in and I was told finally they open at 5 pm. Must of thought I was homeless. Wanted a big order of chicken fried rice and have money to pay for it. This happened just before 2 pm.

If you like some spice, I highly recommend their spicy fish Szechuan soup

The first time I came here everything was perfect. The second time they had horrible service and I thought maybe it was just an off day for them. Third time I came it was the same thing! They bring one main dish every 20-40mins! They will bring a dish with no rice or noodles. Then 30mins later they bring another main dish. 30 mins later they brought us one appetizer. We have been here for over an hour and still waiting on the soup and rice dish to eat with the main dishes which are all cold now…. Crazy way to serve customers.

Abit pricy and the meat dishes load up veggies and meat evenly so most of the price is gonna be for broccoli. Dish was only warm instead of hot but was good nonetheless. Owners do not honor lunch specials at Christmas until Chinese New year so lost my business for that. Dont trust the hours of business to be honoured either...went after Chinese New year and was closed. The location leaves much to be desired as it is in a drug infested area. Not much parking in the area.
