I was in here today. I have been comming to this bakery since I was little with my oma! I have always loved the atmosphere and everyone is always so honest and welcoming. I would recommend this place 100%. This is one of the truly authentic german/Austrian bakeries here in Canada.
Having moved to Barrie from Toronto, where we were spoiled with having Dimpflmeiers bakery close by, we looked to find someplace that had the quality and freshness that we were accustomed to. And we did. I even think the loaves of bread are superior - doubt one can find anything better than how Sigrid's bakes them. Lots of tasty pastries as well, always something to choose from. A 4th generation managed bakery, the German influence here is clearly seen in the goods. You wish they had seating to sit and enjoy the awesome bakery goods! The bakery items were great!
