“This is our second stay at the Empress Inn and Suite. We finally found the perfect place to fully enjoy Sandbanks. My family and I find the room spacious for 4 people. The room is clean, large and functional! We are very happy to be able to shower and sleep in a comfortable bed after a day at the beach. We also like to have a little drink on the terrace at the end of the day!

“We had a wonderful lunch at Bloomfield Public House today.Delish raw oysters and steamed baby clams in a broth that deserved to be sopped up with the toasted bread.Cold beer and a cider and you have contentment.Service was stellar.”

“It is a good place right near the east gate of sandbanks provincial park. Nice place to sit outside for some tasty wood baked pizza. They have some really good selection of pizzas even veggie option. Sauce is very tasty and crust is great. You even get fries, drinks. There is a mini golf put for golf lovers. Washroom is clean and big. Over all good place for pitstop for some hot food.”

“I came for the pizza because of all the raving blogs and reviews but as soon as I walked in it became all about the experience. We met the owner and head chef and they are doing this out of love not for the sake of business. Everything they do was so thought out and had a story. The wines were delectable and the pizza was out of this world. You can tell that this isn’t your typical winery this is a place that truly cares about the quality of their product. 10/10 experience”

“We were a party of 6 last night and had a fantastic experience. The food was phenomenal but the service was top-notch! All three staff we interacted with were charismatic and personable. The hostess learned my mother was here from Newfoundland and told us all about the trip her friends just planned for the Rock, showing us the map on her tablet. Our server “Prince Charming” was so engaged with my step-son who is on the spectrum and can be very shy. It made my son’s whole night having a conversation with him about the Shrek movies and Puss in Boots! I could not say enough about what a wonderful experience we had at Hartley’s.”
