“This location was opened in 2018 and has been a huge hit in the community. The only downside is that their parking area is a little small. Many just go through the drive through for ice cream treats but even that lineup spills out onto the street. If you do plan on going into the store, be aware that if you plan on parking here, the spaces are very limited and a little challenging to get into. There is some seating inside and outside but it is limited so don't except a sit-down table to enjoy your treats. This location also carries more than just ice cream! They also also sell Kawartha Dairy milk, cheese curds, butter, and even ice cream cakes. If your here for the ice cream, each Kawartha Dairy ice cream flavor is a very rich and creamy treat, well worth the money. They have a wide selection of flavours. If you like chocolate, I highly recommend their Death by Chocolate flavour. But, their Butterscotch Ripple is also the best you'll find! They typically have 25-30 ice cream flavors available.

“A new associate was working and my order was made wrong. The other associate working, corrected my order without being asked as I was just going to take what was made. She was polite, no rude remarks and kept her composure very well, even with the stress and how busy the store was at the time. It was great customer service and very professional. “It’s a friendly place but I was surprised that they do not have trays for Ice Cream cones? They kept on wanting to put the cone upside down in a cup??? Something has been lost at Dairy Queen. When I was a kid (in the 70’s) , I was tasked with hopping in the car, driving to to DQ and bringing back cones for everyone. They always had TRAYS for the cones. I can’t believe an Ice Cream cone place does not have trays!! When I got in the car today and had to modify a drink tray or my grandson would have been sad…“

“One of the best ice cream stores in Newmarket! I was driving on Davis on Thursday last week, and felt like having some ice cream due to the hot temperature. Very friendly staff, soft ice cream and clean environment... I will definitely visit again! Highly recommend it.“

“Just left their store and associate was friendly to a kid asking for water, patient with a woman who asked for help, tolerant of a couple who were being a bit much. Told me the pineapple was frozen after he happily told me he could make a substitution I asked for, while the original item was fresh.

“I’m a regular customer here for so many years and I always love to see all the hardworking people here who make my favorite very berry smoothie yummy all the time, it’s always an experience to come and get my drink, many faces changed over the last few years but I never came across like the worker to whom I met on 4th of August during evening hours , such an amazing personality and the behavior of the guy was so heartwarming, I think he was working with a new staff as she was having trouble with something’s but this guy saved the day, I know this guy used to work full time before but now I see him less in the store, if store owner is reading this comment pls give this boy a raise.“
