We were SO EXCITED for all you can eat, up until the first bite. The chicken Alfredo was drenched in a soupy-milky texture that I guess is supposed to be “sauce?” Tried to soak it up with the chemical tasting bread. But unfortunately decided to leave and have ice cream for dinner instead. Sorry east side Mario’s. hey Budda boom budda puke…. Will not be back.

Service was good! Pasta was not ?Pasta was like a soup! And the chicken alfredo tasted and had the texture of a wet kleenex drowned in hot milk! ?Reminds me of a 12 year old learning to cook dinner. When the waitress asked how everything tasted I had to placate her like I would a 12 year Olds cooking too: "mmm realllly yummy guys ?"Strange chemical taste to everything too, and could smell burning chemical in the air. Pretty sure they melted something inorganic in the oven ?but just kept cooking up the orders...What a wild experience. Not even sure how this place is considered edible by any means. ?♂️Its quicker, cheaper and tastier to just make a quick spaghetti at home.We didn't leave 'cause we were full, we left because we couldn't bare to eat another bite. Yuk!

My friend and I have been going to ESM for years but this was one of our few poor experiences. We waited a while to be served - it was 2pm so there were very few other tables - so by the time we saw the server (who I think was the manager because he didn't have on the usual uniform) we ordered our drinks and our meals. We always get pasta which comes with home loaf and salad or soup. I ordered my soup to go which I always do and has never been an issue. The server said I couldn't have it to go as that was not part of "the promotion" (the same promotion they have had since the place opened?). We got our starters before our drinks came. About 3 minutes after our starters came, our mains came - suffice to say we thought they would wait a bit so we had time to get through the starters. The pasta was overcooked and falling apart, but otherwise the food was very good as usual. The coffee was terrible, it was like drinking cigarette ashes. I didn't really appreciate why I could not have the soup to go because had I ordered this meal from their to go bar (which I have before) I would have received the soup to go! Not sure what difference it makes if we dine in whether I eat it then and there or not - the price is the same either way. Our server, whether he was the manager or not, was not terribly friendly - no "hi, how are you today" or any type of banter you usually get with a server. We kind felt like we were an inconvenience or an afterthought that they wanted out. Hopefully this was just a one-off.

This was the first time my wife and I visited East Side Mario’s. Our waiter, Rahul, was excellent! He went above and beyond to make our visit a very pleasant one.We ordered spinach dip from the starter menu. For main course, we had chicken linguine amatriciana and chicken parmigiana. We were both very impressed by how tender the chicken was. Amatriciana had a very nice smokey flavour to it.The restaurant serves complimentary bread, fresh from the oven, and butter. We will come back just for this bread! It’s exquisite!Kudos to Rahul again!
