We started with a crisp Caesar salad (the only one I've ever had that I can say compete with my father's - even Dad agreed) and a beautifully balanced Caprese salad with the freshest basil, both savoury and well-executed. Even the bread and butter were exceptionally phenomenal—a simple yet telling detail of the kitchen’s commitment to quality. For mains, the halibut was perfectly tender, the rack of lamb with scallops rich and flavourful, and the filet mignon flawlessly cooked with a peppercorn sauce that was absolute perfection. Each dish showcased precision and top-quality ingredients, all complemented by a bold, complex 2013 Brunello Monticiano. A silky crème brûlée and expertly crafted Spanish coffees was the ultimate indulgence to finish this exceptional meal. “I booked a reservation for my mom's 50th birthday here. When we arrived they had someone to open the door for us and show us where to go. They sat us down in a spot that was like its own little room inside of the main diner. They brought us our drinks then took our orders. The service was amazing, I believe our waiter was Joe! He was phenomenal and made us feel very welcomed. The food was amazing as well! Everyone ordered something different and each item was perfect in itself! There was an issue with one of the appetizers but someone came out to tell us what was going on and made sure we knew that it was coming. When it finally arrived it was delicious. We had a reservation for 7:30 on a Tuesday, so the side of the restaurant that we were in was very quiet. Overall, the restaurant was amazing and we will definitely be coming back again!“
