“The food was amazing, I got the crab cakes, shrimp tempura , and oysters as my appetizer A+. Out mains were the well done sirloin steak and Nocchi pasta , AMAZING. Our waiter was Anna and she was the best, she made the experience so comfortable and was very considerate. Highly recommend Spencer if you are going to Burlington. Views were amazing !“
“Well, the negative reviews seem to be before they made _significant_ changes. Service was friendly and chipper. The chicken burger and fries were _excellent_ -- fresh fries, crispy and juicy chicken. There was even a lovely view of the lake out of the large windows. Decor was basic -- this is a lunch counter in a municipal park -- but clean and nice. And our three year old cleared her plate!“

“Had a nice lunch with the family.
We had a shared the meat platter (for 2) between three people and had some left.
Nothing fancy but a good variety of meets. Beer on tap is also nice.
Decor is authentic and pleasant, service was quick.“

“Food was home made and really delicious. prices were excellent. Staff was very accommodating as we were 9, including 3 small children. I would highly recommend this hidden treasure. VERY GOOD AND FRESH FOOD.“

“I’ve been wanting to try Bernie’s for sometime now and I’m sure glad I got to today. The ambiance was a delight, the kitchen was busy with takeaway orders right when they opened and the bartender was nice. My pint of beer was nice and cold and my club sandwich was over the top awesome and left me feeling full. My girlfriend enjoyed the burger — which the beef patty looked house made- and my Caesar salad was made with fresh crunchy lettuce! We’ll definitely be back for more! Cheers!“
