“My now husband and I got married at Spencers on May 29th and it was the most incredible day of our lives. We had looked at multiple wedding venues after we got engaged but from the moment we met with the Spencers team we knew we had found our winner hands down. From the beginning we were greeted with so much excitement and kindness that it made us even more excited for our special day. You can tell they take so much pride in ensuring their guests have the most amazing event and they really go above and beyond to ensure your day is everything you dreamed of and more.
We worked with the incredible Alexandra as our Events Consultant and we cannot thank her enough for her kindness and attention to detail as she walked us through the entire planning process. She laid everything out for us so well and kept us so calm - we genuinely were not worried about a thing as we knew she and the whole team had our back. From every email, to every in person meeting, Alexandra was so kind and working with her felt like working with a friend. She puts her all into making sure her couples are taken care of.
Jon was also absolutely amazing! From coming to introduce himself during our first details appointment, to working with us and our family to ensure we had everything we needed is something we won't ever forget. He took such good care of us every step of the way and truly went above and beyond.
On wedding day - our 2 day of co-ordinators, entire service staff, and bartenders were nothing short of perfect. All of our guests RAVED about the delicious food, amazing drinks and the incredible service they received. Throughout the whole night everyone kept coming up to us saying how friendly and fun all the staff were.

Having our wedding at Spencers we did not feel like just another bride and groom - we truly felt like part of the Spencers family and we will be forever thankful to them for giving us the wedding of our dreams.
Our day was filled with so much love, fun and laughter and Spencers was a huge part in that.
You will never regret booking with them. If I could give 100 stars I would.

“Well, the negative reviews seem to be before they made _significant_ changes. Service was friendly and chipper. The chicken burger and fries were _excellent_ -- fresh fries, crispy and juicy chicken. There was even a lovely view of the lake out of the large windows. Decor was basic -- this is a lunch counter in a municipal park -- but clean and nice. And our three year old cleared her plate!“

“Food was home made and really delicious. prices were excellent. Staff was very accommodating as we were 9, including 3 small children. I would highly recommend this hidden treasure. VERY GOOD AND FRESH FOOD.“

“Very authentic Serbian restaurant! We went for a late lunch and ordered the dinner for two, and there were three of us. There was more than enough to eat and we took home leftovers. We had sides of shopska salata salad and lepinje (kind of a flatbread). Everything was very fresh and cooked to perfection. The meats were fresh, seasoned and cooked perfectly. Our server was very attentive and polite and made sure we had everything we needed. We will be back again soon with friends and family!“

We also had the coconut snow ball desert was was also delicious and a great way to end the meal.

The chef spoke with us to ask how the meal was and she said everything is homemade and only cooked when ordered and you could definitely tell because it was all excellent home cooked food that you can tell was made with passion and love.“

“I’ve been wanting to try Bernie’s for sometime now and I’m sure glad I got to today. The ambiance was a delight, the kitchen was busy with takeaway orders right when they opened and the bartender was nice. My pint of beer was nice and cold and my club sandwich was over the top awesome and left me feeling full. My girlfriend enjoyed the burger — which the beef patty looked house made- and my Caesar salad was made with fresh crunchy lettuce! We’ll definitely be back for more! Cheers!“
