“The atmosphere and service was fantastic! The host was so kind in making sure we got a table option that was our ideal. Our server was helpful (with a perfect wine suggestion), and very friendly, attentive enough without being overbearing.

“Well, the negative reviews seem to be before they made _significant_ changes. Service was friendly and chipper. The chicken burger and fries were _excellent_ -- fresh fries, crispy and juicy chicken. There was even a lovely view of the lake out of the large windows. Decor was basic -- this is a lunch counter in a municipal park -- but clean and nice. And our three year old cleared her plate!“

“Food was home made and really delicious. prices were excellent. Staff was very accommodating as we were 9, including 3 small children. I would highly recommend this hidden treasure. VERY GOOD AND FRESH FOOD.“

“Very good food, portions were a great size, and good beer on draught. The restaurant is decorated really nicely and the atmosphere is great, our waitress was very nice and service was quick. Highly recommend. We ordered the platter for 2 with a side of pita with cream cheese and the cucumber and cheese salad and it was all very delicious“

“I enjoy those almond croissants 🥐 so much because it’s my favorite and I’m having it for my snack tomorrow at 4:00pm so Good Job French Lunch keep it up with all the hard work on the food“

“I’ve been wanting to try Bernie’s for sometime now and I’m sure glad I got to today. The ambiance was a delight, the kitchen was busy with takeaway orders right when they opened and the bartender was nice. My pint of beer was nice and cold and my club sandwich was over the top awesome and left me feeling full. My girlfriend enjoyed the burger — which the beef patty looked house made- and my Caesar salad was made with fresh crunchy lettuce! We’ll definitely be back for more! Cheers!“
