“We booked for my mom’s 60th birthday. Had never been to the restaurant before. The dishes are really inspired, excellent pasta, loved the tartufo and the espresso was fantastic. Service was great!”

“Great food, and excellent portions for the price, a smaller dine in area but has that family run feel while being well maintained and clean, slight lip at the entrance but no real accessibility issues as its street level. A larger party may want to try their take out options as the portions are great. Service staff is pleasant to deal with, if you want great Greek food in cobourg this is the place to come.”

“I booked the indoor dining room for a baby shower. The staff were wonderful and the decor was perfect for welcoming a baby girl! Edited to add: I sent the guests home with berry scones from the cafe…everyone reached out over the next couple of days to ask where they came from. They LOVED the scones from the Pink Cafe!”

“We came here from Toronto on a mini road trip, and were super excited to try the best butter tarts. We also ordered 4 other tarts, which I didn't realize until later were just mini pies (and not fruit flavoured butter tarts lol).

Tbh the tarts were just okay! The butter tarts definitely need to be eaten warmed (so much gooier) and all the other tarts tasted better warmed anyway. The butter tarts had a weird skin layer on top and the pastry tart itself wasn't for me personally, since I prefer flaky tarts. Out of the ones we got, the strawberry rhubarb tasted the best and had the best texture. The blueberry tart's filling was too thick and felt like I was biting into something congealed. The apple crumble had good flavour (I do love a good apple pie) but the apples were a bit dry and chunky.

Glad we gave this little home bakery a try but I've had better butter tarts in Toronto for sure!”

“My family and I enjoyed a delightful lunch at The Mill following the Sip and Shop Event. We thoroughly appreciated the delicious food, pleasant ambiance, and friendly service. The staff made us feel welcome and at home. My children enjoyed their chicken meals, and I particularly savored the salmon with rice. We certainly plan to return and highly recommend this restaurant.”

“We went here when it first opened with the limited menu and it was delicious! Finally got to come back again tonight and the food is even better then I remembered! Spicy Margarita was so good and the Carne Asada (flank steak) taco was so delicious, but then again every taco was amazing! Service was awesome and the management did us a huge favor I will never forget! Can't wait to go back!”

“Hands down one of the best bars in Ontario. Creaky floorboards and a ton of signed hockey photos on the wall. A very friendly vibe every time we entered for a bit of a break from the hot temperatures this summer. The beer is cold and the reception is warm at Kelly's Homelike Inn!”

“The buttermilk seed bread is the best bakery bread we’ve ever had. It’s our go to on Wednesdays or Fridays. Added bonus is it freezes in really well so we can cut a large loaf in half and save the other half for later. So happy we discovered Millstone Bakery”

“July 21, Hubby & I had the steak dinners. We both ordered medium rare...well, The steaks were done to perfection!!! Hats off to the cook !!! Huge portion of sides also. “This is absolutely an amazing chocolate shop!! Genuinely some of the best chocolate I’ve ever had!

I always get an assortment of different chocolates and they usually carry a seasonal item. This last time I went in the summer it was fudge, and in October last year, I got chocolate bars. Every thing I’ve tried here has been fantastic and one time I was even gifted a bit of free gelato before I left which was also delicious.

I definitely recommend coming here if you want to get some wonderfully yummy goodies!”

Two for us and three hanging.” They paid, they took their two coffees and left. I asked the waiter. "What’s this about hanging coffees?" "Wait and you'll see." Some more people came in. Two girls asked for a coffee each, they paid & left. The following order was for seven coffees and it was made by three women - ‘three for them and four hanging coffees.’ I was left wondering...what is the meaning of the hanging coffees, they leave. Suddenly, a man dressed in worn clothes, who looks like he might be homeless, arrives at the counter and asks sincerely. " Do you have a coffee hanging?" “Yes we do sir” They serve him a coffee.... I got my answer on these famous " HANGING COFFEES" People pay in advance for a coffee that will be served to whoever can't afford a hot drink. This tradition started in Naples. Amazingly it’s spread throughout the worlds cities and towns. It’s also possible to order not only "hanging coffees" but also a sandwich or a full low cost meal. Make sure to publish this beautiful idea to everyone. Share it if you want to help promote the idea too. Wouldn’t it be great if we could all start doing this in the cities, towns and villages where we live. Let me know if your local coffee shop does this. “I’m leaving this review as the last review because this is the last time I will be eating here after knowing it has changed hands and the staff is going to be fired to let the new owners family have their jobs I guarantee it will only be downhill from here. This is a traditional stop while I’m in the area and the staff make this place clean and what it is this is what our Canada is turning to firing our good hard-working people and replacing them unfairly very sad sad to see them go in such an unfair way.”
