“This place is great! If youre looking for great mexican food (the basics), no frills. Then this is the place.
All the menu items tacos is various options, burritos, tostadas, tortas, tres leches, churros, aqua frescas, etc.
They are authentic, taste great, salsa bar as well.
Basic seating and nice size place.
No complaints at all but also nothing outstanding.
Will always come back when im in the area and need my taco craving met without hving to sit in a dark resturant paying for experience and not just the food.“

“As a California transplant, I’ve been looking for good Mexican food since I moved to Toronto. I’m so happy I found Gorditas! I usually default to steak but when the owner said the carnitas was their best seller, I knew I had to try it. Hoooolllyyyy… it was the best carnitas I’ve ever had! “Bring back the Barbacoa por favorrrrr, it was my favourite. The guac and chips are yummy and the tacos are great. A bit on the pricier side last I went but really good. It’s a large space when dining in so definitely great for large groups, not the best aesthetic though so I prefer takeout. Staff are always very friendly and welcoming.“

Change of owner or chef is so obvius, flavors have been so disappointing on my last two visits.

“The customer service and food are AMAZING. Everything we’ve tried so far (on different days) has been perfectly seasoned and cooked. Everything is hand slaughtered halal and is sourced from local halal butchers. The customer service is top tiers. Very polite, friendly and give off positive and good vibes … 10/10 def recommend“

“I got the bean soup and the enchiladas that come with mole sauce, replacing the meat with soy and the cheese with vegan cheese. Absolutely amazing. The soup was also the best bean soup I've had. And free chips and salsa to start. Definitely recommend.“

“I don’t know who it was that was serving me, but there was a gentleman there that was just so kind and patient with me. I have dietary restrictions and he worked with me to ensure that my food was completely vegetarian for me. He built my bowl and directed the staff to make my fries in a specific way and I really appreciated that! The food was very tasty and had a lot of flavour, the extra spicy sauce is a must! Price is also just right for the amount of food you get, 10/10!“

“It is a good place for Mexican food, they sell typical food, tacos, cakes, chilaquiles, etc.
The food is delicious, but in this case I ordered tacos al pastor and the truth is they are not that good. It tasted more like chorizo, it had no traditional pastor flavor at all.
The suadero is very delicious, just like the carnitas.
