“We came to Gorditas to get tacos as take out since we had heard great things about this place. The food did not disappoint! I got the carnitas (pork), and my partner got the bistec (beef) so we could try different items on the menu. The tacos were very filling, and the carnitas in particular were super juicy. They give you the spicy sauce on the side so you can dress them with as much spice as you'd like. We appreciate that and definitely plan to return to try more of their menu items.“

“This place is great! If youre looking for great mexican food (the basics), no frills. Then this is the place.
All the menu items tacos is various options, burritos, tostadas, tortas, tres leches, churros, aqua frescas, etc.
They are authentic, taste great, salsa bar as well.
Basic seating and nice size place.
No complaints at all but also nothing outstanding.
Will always come back when im in the area and need my taco craving met without hving to sit in a dark resturant paying for experience and not just the food.“

“I got the birria tacos, tacos asada and short rib taco. It was my first time there and I was excited based off of Instagram photos.
One set back was that I got take out and got no sauces in my take out bag, no salsa and that would’ve made a huge difference in overall yum factor. I feel the cashier should’ve either thrown some in the take out bag or at least ask. It’s best to treat customers like it’s their first time .
The birria tacos were good, the consommé was good, lacked a bit of seasoning but tasty enough. Without having any sauce you can really taste the meat itself and it wasn’t seasoned at all. I’m sure the salsas make up for that. The only other issue I had was that the shredded beef in the taco was not cut up into small bite size pieces, so if u took a bite, it was a big chunk of meat. Not a huge deal but not enjoyable as it became chewy. It was stuffed with meat which essentially is good but it was hard to eat. I found it was expensive for what it is at $6.00 for one taco. I also got the tres leche cake, it was ok. I’d go back again but next time I’d get a seafood option like shrimp in addition to the birria tacos. I’ve had better tacos in the city but this one was still good and as I wrote, I would return.“

“It is a good place for Mexican food, they sell typical food, tacos, cakes, chilaquiles, etc.
The food is delicious, but in this case I ordered tacos al pastor and the truth is they are not that good. It tasted more like chorizo, it had no traditional pastor flavor at all.
The suadero is very delicious, just like the carnitas.
But there are different tastes“
