“We stopped for lunch last weekend and were really happy we stopped! The fries were top-shelf and my pogo was amazing…this wasn’t a usual pogo pulled from the freezer bag with ice chunks on it…they almost seemed hand-made and the corn breading was delicate and fresh. This was a pogo (corn dog for our US friends) that was a cut above. Well worth the short drive to Corbeil.”

“My friend convinced me to try Terry's place after I lost the argument to go to Burger World (I still love BW). Walking in it looked quaint and plain: a couple of booths, some tables, three waitresses moving fast for 11 30 am on a Sunday. As I read the breakfast specials on the board, I felt this place was something different from the usual North Bay fair I have seen on my annual visits. I got handed a menu, and after a quick glimpse, I asked if it was too early for lunch- I wanted a burger. The waitress whipped back a menu and after another glance, I asked a few questions about the burgers, as they seemed 'good'. The waitress looked at me with a challenge in her eye and said, "You want something special, can you eat anything? Do you like mushrooms? Let me go talk to the chef," and she was gone! Seconds later, she comes back and says, "Ok, it's on, what's your side?"... A little shocked and embarrassed, I request some potatoes. My friend looks at me and says I won't like that, so she leaves the table and goes to the waitress and says something to her about the potatoes. 15 minutes later, my friends eggsquisite eggs benny comes out like a dish found in a Parisian cafe, on egg-dipped French Bread with beautifully golden hash browns. I was envious, but not for long. Seconds later, the chef is walking out of the kitchen with his hands full of a monstrosity: it's my BURGER and it's HUGE. I exclaim the obivious, he is carrying it to my table, guests stop eating, while overhearing this and seeing this. He drops it in front of me. I say, it's not my birthday, it ain't our anniversary, I am just a guy who was looking forward to a burger. He says, 'enjoy!", The waitress smiles and walks away to attend others. I am in shock. The picture does not do it justice. Gently opening the top of the golden brioche bun, I see the mayo, the lettuce, the tomato, but then I notice, not one, not two, but three onion rings sitting delicately on top of two pieces of peameal bacon and then defying all logic, they are sitting on two pieces of bacon! And then the cheese which was coating a massive layers of mushrooms and onions. My GOD what is happening? This is all sitting on a massive patty as thick as my thumb and pinky finger together! Then there was the side dish. Just potatoes you might think? No, bacon, peppers, cheese, two types of creamy gravy like coatings drizzled on by an artist in love with what he does. I could barely finish either of these two items with my 6'4 in ch frame at 240lbs of mass. In shock and totally ready for a 2 hour nap, the bill for my burger was a tad under $25. It must have been some miscalculation in another universe of existence, but I tipped the team $20 for their efforts, entertainment, and overall amazing experience. I come to North Bay once a year for a visit. Terry, I will be back every year from now on.”

“By far for calendar and North Bay surrounding area, probably one of the best restaurants you can go to. Service is great. Food is amazing and the price is on par for the quality you receive and yet not much more than a place that you receive mediocre food. If you have a chance to eat here, I recommend it”

“There are some downsides, when its busy the service slows down exponentially, and after your second round of orders expect additional waiting times. Despite the wait times, if you time your orders, or make one large order, things come staggered and are nice and hot. The rolls are delicious, and always lovely and fresh. The sashimi is delicious, though selection is limited. I have NEVER been sick from this sushi restaurant. The experience does vary quite a bit from time of day, day of the week, and just each time you go. Usually its good, sometimes not so much. Also, they are a little stingy with the sauces and portions, during all you can eat. This can be very offputting but has the added bonus that you can try more foods. Plus you can always just order more! P.S. If you order 10 different ice cream portions, expect the servers to put them into groups of type of ice cream. They dont know whos ice cream is whos. Too many idiots giving the servers heck for that.”

Friendly and fast service. Got a burrito bowl and it was fresh and tasty ($15 with tax).
My only complaint is my bowl was a little skimp on the ingredients compared to other much more filled bowls I've purchased in the past. For the price, I expect more food.
Good lunch though, and I'll be back 👍”
