“Head and shoulders above the alternative. Excellent restaurant, the fish and chips was amazing, taste and texture and presentation was excellent. $135 for 4 adults (soft drinks). Our waiter was perfectly attentive. Clientele were happy and friendly. Will definitely go back. Washrooms spotless, family/single washroom.“

“Fantastic Sunday Brunch with my Mom and Partner. Steak and eggs perfection. Eggs Benedict with several opens, we had it with peameal and excellent! The BH potatoes (a signature side), were very nice. The best part was that Mimosas were also on the menu. First time customer who plans on making this a regular place for family and friends. Our server, David, and the other staff were top notch.

Wheelchair accessibility: This was the only challenge for us as my mom has mobility issues and the front door access had one large step up to get to the door. I did not ask if they had wheelchair access through another entrance though, so I can’t say for sure that this Bistro is not wheelchair accessible. It would be hard to get a wheelchair up the front step.“

“Cosy little restaurant with amazing food, big portions, delicious Italian food. Service is great. Love coming here. I have tried the chicken parm, very filling (don’t have a pic of it). And the penne sausage dish (I forget the name of it) and chocolate raspberry tartufo - so yummy (I took pics of those)“

“Very thankful to the staff at this location. I accidentally requested the wrong topping on the pizza (needed halal pepperoni). They ended up making me an entirely new pizza at free of charge!!! Thank you so much, this act of customer service and kindness speaks volume about all of the staff at this location.“

“Came here with my husband for dinner last Friday night. We were greeted by friendly staff and offered complimentary water. We ordered the halibut and chips and also the haddock and chips. Both portions were quite large and I had leftovers for the next day.
The batter is very nice and crispy and the fish fills the batter without any gaps or wet doughy spots when you cut into it. The ratio of batter and fish is perfect I find.
The chips are thick and very tasty as well.
Overall this is a wonderful family run restaurant with great service and food.

“When we are in the Bowmanville area and are wanting pizza, this is our usual go to place. The pizza is always excellent and the rice balls are delicious. The toppings are generous and always fresh however the pepperoni is a little spicier than most places but still very tasty. The last time we went, we did ask for our toppings to be put on top of our cheese because that's how we like them and they didn't do it so that was a little disappointing and surprising because they are normally always on top of what the customer wants. The staff is very friendly and accommodating and it's very clean. The prices are decent especially if you get pick up specials. I will keep going back!

There was a short delay with my pickup order because they were very busy so they threw in an extra dipping sauce. It was a very nice gesture.“
