“Head and shoulders above the alternative. Excellent restaurant, the fish and chips was amazing, taste and texture and presentation was excellent. $135 for 4 adults (soft drinks). Our waiter was perfectly attentive. Clientele were happy and friendly. Will definitely go back. Washrooms spotless, family/single washroom.“

“This little bistro is quite quaint. The server was extremely nice & attentive. The food came out in a timely manner & was really good. My only issue is that out front they have an outdated menu compared to the ones inside & the inside menus are a bit crumbled. The price difference is about $3 which isn’t a lot but knowing the true prices upfront would be nice. I definitely will go back here when I’m in the area.“

“We ordered 12 xl pizzas tonight and I am pretty disappointed. One of our volunteers called with the number of slices we needed and instead of being honest, your store did the math with 8 slices in an XL pizza when there should be 12 and added a 12% tip without confirming first. We are a not for profit organization and this cost us over and beyond what it should have.

I messaged the owner who normally takes our order and he responded within 30 minutes to fix the issue. Although I found the store worker to have poor integrity, the owner was the very opposite.

“Our family stops here frequently when coming to visit family in Oshawa. The staff is absolutely fantastic. They greet us like we are family every time we come in. The food is always wonderful and cooked to perfection. They treat our hearing impaired daughter so special and have even offered to let her help make her own pizza. I really wish that there was a Pizzaville in Peterborough because it's definitely my favorite place to eat pizza at.“

“The blue cod here was WOW! I love the fact that Schooners offers something different vs. the competition where it’s all the same species of fish all of the time. The very nice lady behind the counter had a vast knowledge of the various fish species in the water and would definitely return again for another meal!!“

“We ordered a cake last minute from sugar chalet for my son's 3rd birthday! The other bakery we were working with decided a week before his birthday that they could not make our cake 😡... The team here was so sweet and had no problem with the last minute order.

Our cake turned out amazing! Better than I could've imagined. Not only did it look wonderful, it tasted incredible! The theme for our son's birthday was Toy Story. I will absolutely be ordering from them for future custom cakes, and I highly recommend them to anybody looking for one as well.“

“The girl serving food has no standard. I was coming from work, not dressed suit and tie. She served me half the meat which I normally get. Its true some nationalities judge people by their looks and change their standards.“

“Delicious food, generous portions and my boyfriend said he now has "mad sow" disease from being so full.
