This Popeye's is the most consistent one I have ever been to.No matter what time I pop into the ON Route, whether lunch, afternoon, or dinner, they are always out of chicken. The staff have excuses that are abundant, varied and unique each time. Today, the cook was on break again.I applaud the staff in the back of house for their excellent food planning for this consistent experience.
I love Popeyes chicken but definitely not at this place. I ordered a two piece combo. The stressed and very curt server indicated they only have two pieces of chicken left and they were spicy. I said fine. However, it was 1 PM, the peak of the crowd. This is like McDonald’s running out of hamburgers!! Get the order and then went to the pop dispenser. It's like watch chickens with no heads flapping around. Over hiring doesn't work if no one knows what going on. I recieved my order with a substitution. I wasn't aware of it until they handed it too me and told me.I didn't want the fries but I guess that's just tough. More for the seagulls outside then. Shame I had to pay for them though.
