“We went for a dinner date and to watch a football game. I had the taco salad and hubby had the chicken wings. The food was good. The atmosphere was welcoming & the wait staff was very friendly. Felt like a hometown kinda place. Just what Essex needs.“

“We took our cousin from Alymer to The Main last Saturday. I am writing this because of her comments. We had told her it was our favourite dinner restaurant in town and she quickly found out why. She had the 3 Napkin Burger (?) and loved it! It made me realize just how great this restaurant is. She commented about the decor, particularly the fantastic Christmas tree. It made me realize that every time we have been to The Main over the years, the food has always been excellent, the service great, and a guaranteed good evening out. I wish that pickerel could be added to the menu - we love the perch however. Thanks to Heather and Tom for providing such a nice relaxed atmosphere in this restaurant gem.“
