“This is easily one of, if not the best, coffee shop west of downtown. They roast their own beans, they offer a number of beans on pour over, and usually a couple of bean options on espresso too. Prices are very reasonable for the kind of care they put into each coffee. Highly recommend if you're into 3rd wave, specialty coffee. Pastries are good too!“

“I discovered Coffee Tree when I lived in the Bloor West neighbourhood, amazing beans, very friendly staff. Now, though I live a little further away, I return regularly to enjoy their warm environment and stock up on my coffee and tree supply for home. “I've been purchasing Barocco beans (espresso Forte) for over a year. There used to be a store on College street (Toronto) and when it closed down, we panicked (we have turned many of our friends on to these beans), then we found out about the shipping method. It's so good that we actually bring some down to Costa Rica when we go (we go yearly) and CR is pretty much synonymous with good coffee. Then there's the customer service... we were victims of a porch pirate who stole our last shipment and Phil, without batting an eye, replaced it with a smile. Talk about a mensch. Simply a fabulous product and a fabulous company. You won't find a better more delicious rich and chocolatey espresso or a better company selling it.“

“2 things which made for a stellar experience:
1. Came in for a decaf iced americano. Usually decaf is on the lackluster side, but their selection was absolutely delicious.
2. I decided to buy an Aeropress on the whim from this place, but then found I'd be eligible for a discount if I bought it straight from the Aeropress website. The staff here were gracious enough to give me a full refund, no questions asked.
