“I discovered Coffee Tree when I lived in the Bloor West neighbourhood, amazing beans, very friendly staff. Now, though I live a little further away, I return regularly to enjoy their warm environment and stock up on my coffee and tree supply for home. I'm grateful to see, during COVID, that you're continuing to deliver! You definitely provide an essential service for me.“

“Hale, a classic Toronto coffee roaster. Highly recommend, I mostly get their Hale espresso blend for beans that I use at home.
Coffee needs QC, as espresso shots are inconsistent but I don’t blame them. It’s difficult to sometimes dial in always perfect shot, still recommend to anyone.
I used to frequent their location in Square One before it closed, be sure to stop by! Also friendly staff always!“

“In Toronto, most coffee shops and roasters offer the same fare, and nothing stands out. But Ethica goes above and beyond in ways that make it one of my favorites. Their specialty drinks are exceptional. The decor and thoughtful seating arrangements create a welcoming space. They stock 10% cream and won't judge you for using it (unlike many third-wave shops in town that act like you've committed a coffee crime). The beans are delicious, and the graphic design and packaging are delightful. Love this place.“
