“My Wife and I were introduced to this small but, hidden gem, by our In-laws, who are regular patrons. The staff and cooks are amazing. Beautiful 'Juliana' has a smile and personality that could stop a 'Warship'. The quality and prices are beyond criticism. Our favorite destination for a good satisfying meal. Enjoy!“

“We ordered the half chicken with potatoes and rice and was impressed from the first bite. They were generous with the sauce, which was super flavorful with a nice tang to it. The chicken was tender and juicy, and the potatoes were cooked just right. I grew up in little Portuguese so this sent me into full childhood nostalgia.

The service was also great. Everyone was very welcoming for a busy small grab-and-go spot. Makes for a great lunch spot or a take out dinner kind of night. Portion was so big, I ended up eating 3 rounds of it, lol. And if you wanna save a little, bring cash!“

“We ordered a family platter here and were very impressed by it! The whole chicken was incredible with the sauce on it and is easily some of the best chicken I’ve ever had. The potatoes were super tender and full of flavour and a great complement to the chicken. The rice also surprised us with just how good it was. Overall this meal exceeded all our expectations and we’ll certainly be back!“

“Not all portugese grills are the same _ Firstly when you walk into this establishment you notice how clean it is _ no matter what time you walk in _ its spotless unlike some other restaurants where the first thing that hits you is the uncleanness _ Lavrador's Bbq open kitchen is huge and the place has been there for a long time _ but the massive overhead exhaust systems grills and ovens are extremely clean and new looking _ always shiny _ hot table as well (which contains and displays some of the tastiest food ive had if not the tastiest) always fresh and kept at proper temperatures _ next thing you see is Linda the owner coming out from the back walking towards you with a smile if she is not already serving another customer _ always friendly _ never a long face _ even though she might be exhausted near the end of a long day from all the cooking cleaning and serving (not to mention the heat) she is very professional and does most of it herself _ not to take anything away from her helper _ also the variety of food should be noted _ she has the main dishes every day Like the chicken _ potatoes _ rice _ fish which is all extremely tasty but she also throws in some other dishes that you will find on certain days like chineese style stir fry rice and lasagna _ stew with potatoes peas and pork_ fava beans,roast beef roast pork cod fish stew,cod fish and potato pie if that's your thing _ and where else can you get a huge turkey drum stick and feel like a king _ also her home made corn bread is amazing_ and for what you get in regards to quality of service_ quality of atmosphere and quality of most importantly the food the prices are unbeleivable _ I havent tried all of the dishes yet but I plan to _ im on my way there now

“I have visited the restaurant several times, and I can confirm the food is delicious, always well served, good portions (I have attached pictures, keep in mind some are half doses of the requested food). The customer service is excellent, super friendly and very professional.
I will be coming back, my go to restaurant.

“Uptown Churrasqueira is a nice place to eat. They serve yummy chicken and fresh veggies. The chicken was a little cold, and they could have used more sauce (I asked for extra sauce), but it was still cooked well. The veggies were really fresh and tasty. There isn’t a lot of seating, so be prepared to take it on the go!I think it's a good spot to grab a bite, so I would give it five stars. You might want to try it if you're in the mood for some tasty chicken and veggies.I will add though, the area is hard to get in and out of due to the Finch traffic, but if you’re willing to brave it, then you’ve got a good chance at enjoying this place the same way that I did.“

“Found this restaurant yesterday after an appointment at Humber River hospital . We enjoyed half chicken dinners accompanied by Rice potatoes and Salad . “The minute I was on the phone with Stephanie, I knew she would take care of us. She provided excellent menu choices for our party of 10. All items were perfectly packed when we picked up, especially the individual soup & desserts. Everything was delicious, we even had leftovers. “I took my nephew out for a birthday lunch with high expectations, and Nandos exceeded those. The chicken was mouth watering, the chicken burger was excellently crafted, and the FRIES!!! The fries were…yes. Just yes. And the service was absolutely amazing, and shoutout to Sayeda!!! She is incredibly kind. She repeatedly asked us if we needed anything, was extremely helpful, and super friendly.“

“The sandwich was really nice, fresh, flavorful, and satisfying and for just ten bucks, it honestly doesn’t get much better than that.
The coffee was great as well something I’d come back for.
The only thing I didn’t enjoy was the almond tart; the egg flavor was a bit too noticeable for my taste.

“We placed a large order, for the first time, with Mario’s BBQ on Hurontario St. From start to finish, it was a very pleasant experience. It was delivered on time and was fresh and hot. We just had to take the cover off the dishes, and they all looked appetizing and beautifully presented. The portions were huge. Everyone enjoyed the deliciously flavoured roasted and grilled chickens, the rice, and roasted potatoes and veggies. The Greek salad was perfect too. Could not get any better than this.
