We sat across from another couple that was celebrating there 1st Anniversary too. Small world. “My wife took me to our favorite Kingston fine dining restaurant tonight for my birthday! Wonderful evening at the always full Grecos Grill & Wine Bar with a wonderful din of conversation, servers happily singing and humming, and the great food. I had the always tender and flavorful bone-in veal chop and my wife had her fave and what she considers the best lamb shank in Kingston! A wonderful meal capped with excellent desserts and coffee. Great experience, awesome menu and specials, and excellent kitchen and wait staff!“

“Heartfelt gratitude out to Bread and Butter Bakery for helping me out with a special vegan cake on very short notice! Every last crumb received lots of love! I’m not sure how it’s possible to make a luxuriously rich tasting cake that is also so light, but they did it ! They’ve been our go-to for muffins, scones and bread for years. I used to make our own cakes, but I think I will go to B&BB now also! (And I’ll make sure to aim for more notice next time!)“

“We lunched at Pho Kingston 2023 03 14 and it was wonderful. Service was prompt and courteous, the food was in our opinion excellent. The restaurant is bright and clean, we did not check the washrooms but I would expect with the basic cleanliness of the dining area that they would be more than acceptable. Lunch for 3 (of which two of us took some home for later) plus 2 spring roll appetizers and 2 takeout dishes was $90. For me this translates to at least seven servings for that price. I had the Beef Pad Thai and a day later for supper at home it was still very tasty. For me it was a first time and I will return for sure. Thank you Pho Kingston.“

“If you haven’t tried Saber’s Taste of India on Princess in the west end yet …. you are seriously missing out. Hands down some of the best Indian food I’ve had in Kingston, maybe anywhere.

The Masala Lamb? Incredible. Tender, rich, perfectly spiced , it’s impossible to have just one bite. The Butter Chicken is everything you want it to be: creamy, flavorful, and comforting without being overly heavy. But the real hit, the Chicken Madras , unbelievably delicious with just the right kick of heat and depth of flavor that lingers in the best way.

But what makes the experience even better is Saber himself. He’s not just the owner; he’s the heart behind the food. You can feel how much pride, care, and love he puts into every single dish, and it makes everything taste that much better. There’s nothing better than knowing your meal was made by someone who truly loves what they do.

Sorry to state the fact that men are disgusting when it come to hitting the toilet bowl. The floor in the stalls was covered in urine which ended up on the bottom of my shoes. “We enjoyed a delicious meal yesterday. We had veggie spring rolls, green curry chicken and chicken pad Thai. All was fresh and very well presented. The young man who served us was lovely and friendly although I think he was the only server trying to look after everyone he kept smiling. Vegetarian options: I are vegan with tofu for protein there were other meat options available.“

“One of my favourite spots to grab something healthy. Only complaint is it needs a good cleaning. The floor is showing neglect with dirt around the tables. Often tables are not wiped off, and it needs window blinds as it's facing west and gets all the afternoon sun, which is lovely but blinding and hot! The staff are always friendly and nice.

“I went to Kingston yesterday and I tried Denny’s since I’ve heard amazing things. IT WAS DELICIOUS!! THEIR WERE FREE REFILLS. And our server was the sweetest! My breakfast was delicious, and fulled me up! AND IT WAS CHEAP! I recommend this place, the experience was truly magical.“

“We recently had dinner at Lone Star to celebrate our youngest sons graduation from St Lawrence college, on June 19th we had originally booked a table of 6 for the patio, but do to weather we asked if it possible to move our party to an inside table, which the staff happily accommodated us. Our dinner was fantastic and our server Alabama was absolutely fantastic, tending to our every request and even had fresh pot of coffee which I believe my wife and I were the only ones drinking coffee. Everyone was extremely happy with thier dinner and will definitely be back, hopefully the weather will cooperate and we can enjoy the patio. Again we like to thank the staff and our server!“
