“Everything about The Flaming Fish is fabulous! Super friendly staff (D was our server) and a Southern menu that is out of this world. We had the fried green tomatoes, gumbo, herb trout and haddock with collard greens. The food is amazing! Kudos to the chef and family. Highly recommend!“

“We ordered dinner again, got it for the first time last week. The food was absolutely delicious. Aria (not sure if the spelling) who works the front counter is a breath of fresh air as she greets you with a smile and a warm hello. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner, John, who is friendly and took a true interest in thoughts on the food I highly recommend this for a great meal. One of the few places all 4 of us agree on.“

“Bring water to a simmering boil. Put frozen pierogi in the pot for 5-6 minutes. Drain fry in butter with a touch of oil to keep butter from burning. If you do that the dough will be awesome!“
“I live in a city with many taco restaurants. I ordered from Lloyd’s while visiting Buffalo and it’s now on my “must get while in Buffalo” list. I loved the food and really loved the ordering options.
Vegetarian options: Loved the tofu taco!!!!!
Dietary restrictions: I loved the way I could order light rice. My husband wasn’t with me, but being a diabetic, he should get no rice and just beans. He’ll be thrilled that he can.“

“I'm 52 years old and am a Fort Erie native and I have have been eating french fries from the fry truck on Jarvis St. since I was a kid. My grandfather use to take me and then in high school we walked over (or under) the bridge at least 3 times a week to buy a large fry from the truck at lunch. Hands down they are still the best fries in Fort Erie, especially when the oil is new and the fries come out crispy and just the right color. With salt, white vinegar and some ketchup (not drowned), you get a great french fry with a distinct flavor or taste. My dad and still hit the fry truck whever we can, usually on the weekend.“
