“My wife and I had one of the best dining experiences ever last night. We’ve been to Lucia’s previously and if you’re not aware, it’s best to make reservations well in advance when you want to go. Anticipating our 32nd wedding anniversary, we tried to make reservations weeks in advance but nothing was available on Open Table however the stars aligned yesterday afternoon! Thankfully, we selected the notify me option and a spot opened last night!! When we checked in, we were warmly greeted by Jill with Happy Anniversary”! We arrived early to enjoy a cocktail at the outside bar. My wife had a lemon martini followed by a French 75. I had an Eagle Rare Old Fashioned. All perfectly crafted by highly attentive bar tenders. When we went to our table, not only did the person who seated us but the busser & server all acknowledged it was our anniversary! For dinner, we had crab risotto and lobster ravioli, both topped with an 8 oz perfectly grilled filet. An abundance of crab and lobster meat on both dishes. Thomas, our server, was extremely articulate, highly knowledgeable of each dish, their preparation and made excellent suggestions. He made the evening a delight! Lastly, we had creme brûlée for dessert! I can’t say enough, Lucia’s is a first class dining experience, top to bottom!! Kudos to the entire staff!!“

“When in Buffalo this restaurant is a must, I am a steak lover, tonight I would say I had the best steak in my 72 years of my life. The NY 14oz was unbelievable. My compliments to the chef. Absolutely the best food in Buffalo and our favorite hands down Italian restaurant with the best meatballs I ever had besides my grandma's, that I haven't had since she passed, so these are now the best I can get. The menu is great with something for everyone and whatever you're in the mood for from flatbread pizza to homemade pasta with the most amazing sauces, delicious salads, fantastic steak and the freshest Italian desserts. if you can save room. We have to get them to go home. It's so hard to decide that we get several things and go family style sharing and going around the menu. bravo Nani in the meatballs! they are a must! great friendly service and beautiful atmosphere. sometimes the acoustic music in the bar. what a gem we love walking distance to the theater district, we try to go before shows and park and enjoy the evening starting with the best meal and drinks before a show downtown. “Visited for the first time with my mom on 1/31/26. Friendly, hard working host sat us within 10 minutes. We ordered a drink at the bar and chatted with the bartender, he was fluent in the menu and preparations. Our server was equally informative, she was very busy, only wished we had a bit more attention but, it was a busy Saturday. We ordered the Meatloaf Tower and the Shrimp and Scallop dinners. Both were very good, served with warm bread, salad and side. Meatloaf was a bit dense but good, Shrimp and Scallops were cooked to perfection in a garlicky butter and the vegetables with that dish were outstanding.“

“Ribs was the best in the City of Buffalo great staff and atmosphere“

“Went there before a play for dinner at Shea's Buffalo. This place is on the Chippewa bar strip, so we were not expecting much. Walking inside, it looks like a typical party/cocktail bar, brick walls, long bar, and tables opposite the bar with plastic chairs and Formica tables, so you are sitting in the bar. At 5:30PM on restaurant week before a nearby playing of Hamilton, we were the only diner's there (and only 4 others at the bar). Now the good part.... one of the best meals I have had in a long time!!!!! Waitress/bartender was prompt, attentive and friendly. The special for restaurant week that we had was $35 for soup/salad (I had soup), Duck with asparagus, yams, sprouts and and pie for dessert. This meal was fabulous! Perfect portion and perfect flavor. The caramel/peanut butter pie was luscious! On top of all this, we were there during happy hour, so $3 a beer. I highly recommend trying this place to eat, just don't expect a cozy, intimate atmosphere. You won't be disappoints, and you won't be broke.“

“Like a light at the end of a dark tunnel, Rodney’s came to the rescue! We initially went for lunch at a very new, trendy new spot on Lakeshore Road. After a 20 minute wait, we were seated. The place was so loud! No band. No loud music. Just loud everything else. People talking, dishes clanking and who knows what else, it was so loud. There’s no way you could carry on a conversation without shouting. So we left right away. Next we tried a popular seafood restaurant nearby and were treated like second-class citizens just by inquiring how long the wait was. Out of there. Rodney’s was almost across the street so we went there. Best idea ever! Our hostess was friendly. Our server was a hoot. Funny, helpful and got everything exactly right. The food was excellent too. A cozy, clean spot right by the lake. I recommend Rodney’s highly.“

“I went for my bday on 2/20 because I kept hearing so many good things about this place and the hype was right , everything was cooked to perfection and piping hot just how I like it 👌 . The country fried chicken wings were fried so good crispy on the outside juicy and tender on the inside. Now when I say that Mac and cheese was so beautiful creamy and cheesy in presentation 😋 boy oh boy as soon as I took a bite I almost hopped out of my seat and started dancing 💃🏽it was so good 😅 . Last but not least those collard greens were so good tender and seasoned not too much and not too little but seasoned juuust right! I'm definitely coming back in fact I need to cone back and see what that haddock fish is hitting for“
