Sometimes a road trip calls for a slight detour to visit small beautiful towns, and enjoy a local restaurant. The Gananoque Inn, right on the water, historic building didn’t disappoint. Our waiter was welcoming, friendly. The menu had something for everyone and food was delicious. The view …awesome??
We actually drove our boat up to the back for lunch one day with some friends. We have returned a few times since and enjoyed the cool breeze on the patio, and indoors on the cooler nights! We had a good selection of items on the menu and I managed to find some gluten-free options.

This restaurant is located at the Gananoque Inn and Spa. The patio has a good view of the waterfront. The food is good and overall a pleasant place to have lunch or supper. It was very busy (poker run weekend) so it took a while for service. We weren’t in a hurry and we appreciated how hard the server staff were working to ensure everyone had a great experience. I’d recommend eating here.
